Anime Stories (Very Gay!!) Some smut and some fluff

~Coffee Shop~

~A/N~ This isn't an anime but I do love broadway. This is a ship from Hamilton. It's a college au where one character works at a coffee shop. Enjoy!~

The campus coffee shop had just opened and Alex was already there. He was a college student with a major in law and an english lit minor. Today he had meant to come well dressed, but that plan failed greatly. He had been late to his first couple of classes because of oversleeping and hitting the snooze button too many times, so he had only had time to throw on a tank top, skinny jeans, a dark green hoodie, and a pair of vans. Alex had put his hair up in a messy bun and had ran to the coffee shop the first chance he was given. If there was one thing his friends knew about him, it was that the short, hyperactive, angry man lived on caffeine. Although he preferred coffee above all else, sometimes Alex opted for energy drinks. 

On this particular day, Alex was trying out a new coffee shop that had just opened on campus. As he walked in the door, he heard the little bell jingle and was greeted with a "Hi, May I take your order sir?" From the barista. Taking out his wallet, he ordered his coffee. Straight black. As he looked up at the man behind the counter, Alex immediately looked down. "Shit, he's cute..I need to ask his name.." He thought. 

"E-Excuse me..but..I was wondering if I could get your name?" Alex asked, fiddling with his fingers nervously as he waited for an answer.

"Oh! My name? Laurens. John Laurens." He said brightly, pointing to a name tag with little turtles around it. "May I ask yours?"

"I-It's Hamilton. Alexander Hamilton. I usually go by Alex though." The shorter man replied as he took his coffee and sat down at a table, opening his laptop up and starting on some work he needed to turn in for his english class. A couple moments later he heard footsteps on the wooden floor and turned around. 

"Oh, It's you John." 

"Um, yeah..I couldn't help but notice that you were sitting alone so I came over to join you. Whatcha working on?" He asked, leaning over the man's shoulder to see better. This action made Alex blush a bit and he looked at the computer as he tried to hide it.

"I-It's just some English Lit work I need to catch up on. It's my second class, I had it before I came here." Alex explained, watching the taller man's expression change into a bright smile.

"Oh my gosh! I'm in that class too, but you probably don't see me since I sit near the back. I can help you if you want. That assignment's pretty hard." John offered, pulling up a chair and grabbing some notes from a counter. As he sat down, he noticed Alex's face was a light pink. "D-Does...he...think I'm cute..?" John thought, trying to focus on the work. 

~Time skip about 30 minutes because I was hungry while typing~

As they were finishing up work, John passed Alex a slip of paper. It had his number on it, with tiny turtles drawn around it and the words "I'd like to know you better, Alex" written on the bottom. Walking out of the shop, John waved goodbye and giggled at the bright pink covering the other man's ears and cheeks.
