~A/N~This is a Mirio x Tamaki fluff + angst story because they're so adorable!~
It seemed to be a normal day at the hero agencies. The two heroes Lemillion and Suneater had been sent out on patrol. Mirio had noticed something was off with Tamaki, but didn't bring it up. He was too worried about accidentally hurting the boy's feelings. The duo reached the end of their patrol, took off their hero costumes, and headed to Mirio's apartment. Tamaki was the first to the couch.
"M-Mirio, I need to talk to you about something..." Tamaki said, his voice cracking a bit as he looked down.
"What is it Tamaki? You can tell me anything." Mirio replied, feeling Tamaki lean into his shoulder. He started to hug him and felt something wet on his shirt.
"D-Don't cry! What's wrong?"
"M-Mirio..I said..I promised you I wouldn't...b-but I did.." The smaller boy choked out between sobs, rolling up his sweater sleeve to reveal at least ten bandages on his left wrist. Mirio pulled him into a bigger hug, running his hands through Tamaki's soft hair.
"It's okay...nobody can hurt you, you're suneater! You are the greatest hero, person, and boyfriend that has ever existed and I have the pleasure of being with you. Amajiki. It's going to be okay. I love you. I love you more than you could imagine, and I'm always here for you." Mirio spoke softly, pulling Tamaki even closer and kissing him on the cheeks and nose. He felt the boy relax in his arms. Finally, they could rest easy.
