"that's not what i meant!" jin young yelled trying to explain himself

"shh!" i teased glancing around the cafeteria

"explain then!" jongdae whispered

"w-what i was trying to say is that why can't we kiss as f-friends?"

"like on the lips?" wonpil chuckled

"i mean...i guess?"

"like...romantically?" i asked amused

"NO NOT ROMANTICALLY!"

"shut up!" jae hissed

"ok ok lemme get this straight you think that the 5 of us should kiss NOT romantically but as friends on the mouth?" wonpil asked

"yea for like practice...you know for girls?" jinyoung added

"ew what if we want practice for a boy?" jae added

"you're into boys?" jinyoung asked with a blush

"nah but what if the other guys are? you can't assume jinyoung." jae winked

"oh well then practice for um f-future relationships..?"

"sure!" jongdae smiled

"ok i guess ." jae smiled

"nah i'm ok." wonpil said eating my crackers

"o-oh i'm out too." i said

"ok whatever losers." jae said

"ANYWAYS yoongi are we still having a party for your dad?" jongdae asked

"yea.." i said with a small smile

"ew why are you smiling?" jae asked

"ok if i tell you don't freak out?" i said sitting closer

they all nodded eagerly

"my dad..he opened his eyes."

"REALLY?!" they all yelled

"shut uppppp!" i laughed

"that's actually amazing yoongi." wonpil said giving me a hug

i froze. "y-yea!"

"bro watch he'll wake up." jae said

"yea he's like what 32 no? so he's still young and healthy" jongdae replied

"um age has nothing to do with it stupid and he's gonna be 41"

jinyoung choked on his water.

"41!!" they all replied

"yea?"

"that's doesn't add up...he looks so young-" wonpil explained

"he has gray hair." i laughed

"yea a streak that looks like its for aesthetic purposes!" jongdae replied

"he was born in 1980."

"that's actually insane." jinyoung said looking defeated

"wait a minute he's older then your appa?!" jae asked

"yea he's 2 years older." i shrugged

"oooh he likes them young." jae laughed

"ewww stoppp! my appa and dad are basically the same age!" i recoiled

"so how old were they when you guys came along?" jinyoung asked

"mmm well they had me two years after getting married so around 27 and 25."

"wow my mom had me at 18!" jongdae said shocked

"my parents barely started talking again when they were 20 and 18...weird.."

"they started dating at that age?" wonpil asked

"no they started dating 2 years before they got married, they were best friends when they were 10 and 8, then had a falling out when they were 16 and 14, found one another again in college and moved in together, fell in love, got married and had kids." i smiled ignoring the knot in my throat

they all looked at me with sad smiles

"my dad and appa were so happy and in love...heck appa is still madly in love...he told us he had a crush on appa for 11 years before they started dating and apparently my dad felt the same...so technically they've been in love for 29 years." i said not noticing i was crying

"y-yoongi?" i heard hoseok whisper

i turned shaking. "when did you get here?"

"i'll tell you in private let's go." he said softly

i nodded grabbing his hand

we swiftly walked out of the cafeteria into the art room

"how did you-"

"jongdae called me over as soon as you spaced out."

"oh.." i said covering my face

"i miss him too yoongi.." hoseok said hugging me

"hoseok he opened his eyes-"

he let go and lifted my chin to look at him. "y-you saw?"

"n-no well not really i-i saw a picture-"

"dr. taemin?"

"yea...i can't stop thinking about it...he's so close yet so ridiculously far hoseok!" i cried

he sighed rubbing his eyes. "i know he's my dad too."

i froze. "how do you deal with this?"

he sat beside me thinking for a moment. "i focus all my energy and attention on taehyung."

i smiled. "taehyung."

"he's proof that miracles happen, you've seen how far he's come...from the accident to his episodes to now." he whispered hugging me from the side

we stayed in silence as i cried

eventually my head started to spin

"i want to go home." i said placing my chin on top of his head

"let's go home then."
