Present Day

I woke to a loud alarm and glanced over to a rattling clock on my bedside table I put my hand out to put the shrieking noisy alarm clock off. It was 5:30 am.

I sat up and felt a cold breeze hit me. "Ugh it's Winter", I said to myself before leaning back into the covers. My mom walked in and laughed at my sleepy face. "Wake up now, you don't wanna be late for the first day of school. Breakfast is ready for you down in the kitchen!" she said before leaving with a little laugh.

I finally mustered the strength to get up and go have a awesome hot shower. I looked up at myself into the mirror and down at my uniform all navy blue and dull. "If only I could wear my usual clothes to school it would be much better..and way more comfortable!" I thought to myself.

I grabbed my books and headed to the kitchen. I could smell the banana pancakes from the shower but it intensified as I grew closer to the kitchen. The golden pancakes sat there looking all pretty on the kitchen counter. I sat down and munched it down before I heard a knock on the door.

I opened up to find Jimin standing there with a big smile on his face. I hopped into his arms and gave him a big hug, "Never leave me I missed youuu!" I scolded him while engulfed in his arms. His hug grew tighter and he whispered, "Mian! I got you something to show you how much I missed you!".

I leaned back and stared at him, "What? Jinja! Babe you didn't- " he pulled out a leather band with a J on it. I smiled and pulled him into a hug. "Thank you, Babe", I said before giving him a deep kiss. "Wait I'm not finished yet" he spoke and paused the kiss. He held out his wrist and showed me a leather band he hand on his hand with a C on it.

He gave me a proud smile and said,"We're matching!" and then he pulled me into a kiss again. I stopped him, "We are going to be late", I said and looked at my phone. It was 7:30 am. "Okay let's go then" he said back to me, "Wait I have pancakes and it'll be spoilt I'd I leave it for later!" I moaned. "You want to be late or do you want to eat your pancakes?" he asked me in sarcasm, as if I had a choice.

"Fine, but lemme get one last bite!" I said before dashing to the kitchen. I took two big bite of the pancake and grabbing my books. We walked to school spoke about what Jimin did on the trip he took with his mom to Tokyo. He had been gone for three days and I was going crazy without him.

Pulled his hand out and put mine next to his. I snapped a pic and put my hand into his. We made our way to the gate and he said,"Hey there's Yerin!", I looked up and she was with a a guy. "Whose the new guy?" he asked, and I answered, "I have no clue". She saw me and darted over towards me, the guy followed.

"Chaeee-Jiii!" she screamed and hugged me ever so tightly and I returned the warm hug. I smiled at her and asked, "Whose the new guy?" , "Oh that's my boyfriend!, and this must be Jimin it's nice to finally meet you!". "You too, Yerin! " Jimin answered. Then the guy came behind Yerin and gave her a back hug, "Babe, this is my best friend, Chaé-Ji. Chaé-Ji this is my boyfriend, Yeonjun"

I froze.
