"I can't wait for the show to be over so I can go and enjoy the beauty that is Australia." I said, pushing my sunglasses on top of my head as my friend and I walked into the arena. "I wish I could go to with ya but I promised Nicki I would go and help her decide on her new ring gear later." Alexa said before looking down at her phone, "Shit I gotta go! I'll see you later (name)!" I watched as Alexa ran off with her suite case rolling behind her. I smiled before rolling my own suite case to the women's locker room. The door was in sight when I heard someone call my name, "Hey (name)!" I spun around to see Xavier Woods standing there, already dressed in his ring gear, "Hey Xavier what's up?" "Have you read your emails recently?" He asked and my eyebrow immediately shot up. "Umm no." I said, confused as to why he was conceded about my emails. "You have to go do it. Now." He said, tapping my phone screen so that it would come on. "Okay okay, sheesh." I said, opening my lock screen and going to my emails. Xavier looked over my shoulder before clicking on one from 'Epic Games', "Read it." He said, cashing me to groan. I skimmed through the email before looking up at him, "Okay I've played fortnite before but who is this Lachlan guy that I'm supposed to be playing in this event with?" "I knew you would be asking me those questions (name). So, I have a surprise for you!" Xavier said, placing his hands over my eyes. I felt myself being spun around before he pulled his hands away. In front of me stood three people, two boys and a girl, "Hi." "(Name) this is Lannan, Kath, and the guy you will be playing with in the Fortnite Pro AM, Lachlan." Xavier said, pointing at each person. I looked at each of them, the Lannan guy seemed way more excited to be here then Kath and Lachlan just had a smile on his face, "Hi guys. I'm (name)." "I know I'm a huge fan! When I heard that WWE was coming to Australia, I had to drag these two to an event. And it just made it so much better when I realized Lachy was your pro am partner." Lannan said, which caused Kath to roll her eyes. "He dragged me along to drive." She said, before adding, "He's made me watch a lot of your matches and you are really good. I love your personality." "Have you played fortnite before?" Lachaln asked, running his fingers through his hair, "Xavier said that you guys were gonna be here for a few days. I was gonna say if you haven't then you could come over and I could teach you." "I've played a few matches but not a lot. I usually just get on and complete challenges to complete the battle pass." I said, before looking down at my phone to see it was about an hour until the show started, "I have to be getting ready now though. I'll make you a deal Lachlan. If you show me around the city then I'll go back and play some fortnite." "It's a deal!" He said, a smile growing across his face. "Hand me your phone and I'll put my number in it and we can meet up after the show is over." I said, holding my hand out. Lachlan placed his phone in my hand and I quickly put my name and number in it before handing it back, "I'll see you guys when the show starts!" I waved goodbye at the three before picking up my suite case handle and opening the locker room door. Before I closed the door I heard Lannan say, "Dude you got her number and you just meet her. You're like lucky!" I shook my head as I closed the door behind me. I rolled my suite case over to the bench in the middle of the room and sat it on top of it. None of the other girls were in here so I was in here alone. Today was a pretty eventful night for me in the ring. I was going to open the show by interrupting Bayley who was saying that no other women in the locker room could beat her. We would then have a championship match and I would win it. Which would make it my first title I've ever held in WWE. I was nervous to say the least. "Okay (name). You've got like forty five minutes before the show starts. You got this." I said to myself before pulling out my ring gear from my suite case. I quickly slipped my top and bottoms on before lacing up my tennis shoes. I walked over to the mirror and glanced into it and made sure my makeup still looked good. Once I was satisfied with my appearance I picked up my phone one last time to see that Lachlan had texted me,
From Lachlan: hey (name) this is Lachlan. Good luck tonight! I can't wait to see you preform and I can't wait to show you around town!
I smiled at my phone before texting him back
To Lachlan: I can't wait either! I'll be looking for you in the crowd
I sent the message and placed my phone in my suite case before zipping it up and placing it in the furthest cubby. I looked at myself in the mirror one more time before making my way out of the room and toward the entrance ramp where I waited for the show to start.
