"(Name), are you ready yet?" Lachy asked me from his spot at the door. He was wearing a pair of ripped jeans and a black jumper.
"Yea let me just put my necklace on." I said, pulling my hair to one side so I could place the silver chain around my neck.
"I'll help you baby." Lachlan said, walking over to me before taking the necklace into his hands. He wrapped the chain around my neck and clasped it in the back. I felt him leave a soft kiss where the necklace laid against the back of my beck.
I blushed and giggled lightly before turning around and wrapping my arms around his neck, "you look spiffy tonight."
"I'll never look as good as you baby." Lachy said, leaning down to place a kiss on my forehead, "Now we better get goin before the movie starts. I know how much you love the previews."
"I just wanna get there early and get the good seats!" I said, sticking my tongue out at him before rushing out the bedroom door.
Lachaln followed behind me as our laughter followed us, "Who's gonna drive?"
"You already know the answer to that one (name). Last time you drive us you ran up on the curb." Lachy said, taking the keys from the key ring before I could grab them.
"I hit the curb one time and it's like it's the end of the world." I said, a smile spreading across my face as we walked out the door.
"Besides you know if I drive you get to be the DJ." He said as he opened the passenger side car door.
"Very true." I said, giving him a soft kiss on his cheek before getting into the car.
He closed the door and I plugged my phone in to the aux. Lachlan got into the drivers seat and turned the car on.
I picked the song, "Valentine by 5 Seconds of Summer", and turned the radio up.
The song described our relationship perfectly. Lachlan and I were in love with each other to the point where we didn't just go out on Valentine's Day. We had date nights once or twice a week every week and once a month we have a weekend getaway. I never had to try hard with Lachlan either. Whatever I did was always enough for him and him the same for me. No one could stop the love we had for each other.
As the song played I placed my hand on his thigh and sung along with him. The setting sun casted lazy shadows on the two of us as we drove. We were imperfectly in love with each other and it was enough for both of us.

Okay this is really short and not that good. I just wanted to write something and get it out. I'm sorry!
