Tonight was a
sleepless night for
us all.
A storm appeared and
we all drowned in its tears.
A cloud of darkness was cast
away on the house.
It was inevitable, our family
was cursed to fall.
The ghosts of the past entered
our lively home, draining away
our happy spirits.
Hardships again were
heading right our way.
However this time,
the dark, cloud insisted
that forever it would stay.
As I was about to drift off to
a blissful sleep, suddenly
an echo of scream and shouts
bounced off my walls.
Words were spat from
across the hallway and
tears were spilt.
All of us are left wide awake,
leaving a trail of our breaking
hearts to follow.
All because of one regrettable
mistake.
