I left a note sa taas ng lamp table ko na nasa gilig ng kama. Tulog pa kasi si Eul nang iwan ko siya.
"I'm Rosella Allyson Martinez from Martinez Group, I have a scheduled meeting with the CEO at 11pm" sabi ko dun sa babaeng nasa Front Desk.
Haesung Group is a big company also. Mas malaki ang building nila kesa sa amin, mas marami rin silang franchise kung ikukumpara sa pitong franchise palang ng Martinez Group, and as what I know, kasali sila sa top 10 companies dito sa bansa.
"Let me check maam" ani ng babae at nagdial sa telephone. Maya maya ay may isang babaeng lumapit sa akin
"Ms. Martinez from Martinez Group?" she asked me. I looked at her nameplate. Her name is Ara. Under her name says the word secretary
"Uhm yes." I answered
Ngumiti yung babae "This way Maam" she said and guided my way towards the CEO's office.
Pagkarating namin sa harap ng pinto ay iniwan na ako nung secretary. I took a deep breathe and arranged my posture. "You can do this" I whispered to myself before knocking on the door.
"Come in." says the voice inside so I went in.
Pagkapasok ko ay bumungad sa akin ang nakaupong si Mr. Alvarez, naka dekwatruhan siya at seryoso ang mukha
"Have a seat Ms. Martinez" utos niya sa akin kaya umupo ako. "Do you want anything to drink?"
Agad akong sumagot "I'm not here to have a drink with you sir. Let us proceed with the meeting. I've been curious why you wanted to talk to me to the fact that I am only the COO of the company."
The side of his lips arose as a sign of amusement "You're smart Ms. Martinez, bakit nga ba?"
"You should be the one to answer that sir." I directly answered
May inilapag siyang document sa harap ko "This is the document for the 6million investment Ms. Martinez, your father already signed it and now, my sign is the only thing that is missing."
"Just go straight to the point sir. What is your condition?" napakagat ako sa labi ko. Parang alam kona ang kakahinatnan ng paguusap na ito
"Here's another one million cheque." saad niya at naglapag ng isang cheque. "You know Ms. Martinez, all I want is the good of my family-" I cut him off
"Sir please stop beating around the bush. Say what you want to say." I said and directly looked at his eyes
