Bittersweet Jester - Hisoka x Reader

1. Hunter Exam Part One

   Hey guyssss I hope you like it. don't bash me too much ;-;. This represents someone's thoughts. 

Akihiro POV

     I was sitting in the woods of the estate with Killua snacking on some fruits while chatting about his mother and his brother. The air was cool, yet comforting. The sun shined down on the clearing we were sitting in. "Okay, don't get mad, but your mom kindaaaa looks like a cyborg," I said. Killua started cracking up, rolling on the grass. He then made one of his famous cat faces, and said " Who's scarier? Mother or Illumi?" in a mischievous tone. I copied his cat face, "Illumi. Definitely Illumi. I'd rather listen to your mother's historical screaming rather than see your brother's cold clean face."

   After a few minutes of aimless chatting, I sensed a presence. I then felt a sharp pain on my neck and turned around. My vision started to blur, but I could see a slight image of a tall, intimidating man. His legs were long and slender, and his face was quite handsome, though blurry. His chin was slightly pointy, and he had a star painted on one cheek and a tear on the other. His hair stood slightly up and was a sort of dark fuschia or velvet. I started to say "W-Who..." but I blacked out.

    I woke up in a cold sweat. I collected my thoughts and calmed down. I sat up and looked around. The grey wallpaper covered by paintings of different places around the world. My poster board covered with polaroid pictures of me and Killua. A few with me and Illumi. It's sad that he never smiles. If he wasn't so scary and cold, he might be attractive. My eyes wandered to the bathroom door and slowly got up and walked over. Before I entered, I quickly grabbed a pair of clothing. It was a black crop top and some ripped high waisted jean shorts along with my undergarments and slightly elevated feminine black combat boots.

Time skip to after the shower

    I stepped out of the shower and wrapped myself in a soft fluffy towel. I grabbed another and started drying my hair. It was a little bit past my collar bones, and the tips were a dark burgundy. Today was the day I was going to start the hunter exam. As I brushed my teeth, I thought about how I would say farewell to everyone. I walked out of the bathroom, fully ready. I walked down the long dark hall towards the dining table to see half of the family sitting already. Killua, Illumi, and Mrs. Zoldyck were not there. I sat down and had idle chat with the others. We talked about the hunter exam and how long it would be. I wasn't really sure, so I didn't say anything about it.

    Illumi and Mrs. Zoldyck entered the room. Illumi's face was blank but had an odd hint of fright and confusion on it. His mother was silent but she kept slightly twitching. I asked, "Where is Killua?" as I started to eat the meal in front of me. Mrs. Zoldyck ignored the question and said "So, you are entering the hunter exam, yes?". I nodded. "I'm sending Illumi along with you. Killua decided he wanted to go too, so he is packing right now." I nodded again and continued my meal. As soon as I finished, I went back to my room and packed the necessities. Toiletries, clothing, daggers, etc.

   Killua and I were standing at the front door. We said our farewells as we waved goodbye to everyone. I didn't see Illumi anywhere, but I didn't question it. We met a car at the front testing gate and got in. We sat in silence, staring out the window.
