Princess Erika and knight Dulce
Dulce POV
I saw a letter in my desk.
And saw it was my the handwriting of my beloved.
My princess
My secret lover.
No one new about our relationship.
Because I was always the one close to her.
I was always the one who protected her.
I was right by her side always.
Then one day, I caught..this so called feelings, and she said she felt the same way.
And we started.
I was happy to receive such a letter from her, but this letter was a little different from the others.
"Come in to my room at 9"

And just like that.
I was suddenly feeling excited.
What could this be about.
I smiled to myself.
Hours later I found myself walking through her room.
With a smile on my face that I can't stop.
Each step I make was so precious.
I arrived at her door, and smiled at myself once again.
I knocked three times..and the door opened.
"Come in"
The princess said.
I nodded.
As soon as I was in
I smiled at her...
But she didn't smiled back.
The excitement I felt a while ago quickly died.
"What wrong princess"
I sat down with her
"I...called you...because I need to tell you something"
She was looking down.
"Okay.."
I nodded
There was silence...
Then she finally start speaking.
"We need..to end this..."
Then I frozed...
I stared at her but she kept looking down.
I felt my world..was completely broken.
"W-wh-at?"
My voice was shaking.
"I-I said...we need to stop this.."
She said.
I stared off at space trying to think..
"I'm.....im..engaged "
She said out of the blue.
Which cause me to finally break.
But..I kept my composure
"O-oh....to whom?"
I looked at her.
But she wouldn't.
"To prince Xavier...we...we have to do this...for the kingdom...for my family..for the future"
She held my hand.
"I know...I know..this is too sudden...but please do understand..-
I cut her off.
"Do you love him?"..
It was a stupid and most probably the dumbest question of all..but her answer wasn't the one I expected.
