Lauren's P.O.V.

the first three periods flew by quickly and I skipped off to lunch excited to see Ashton. I walked over to our usual table which sat me, him, and Bree, my best friend. he looked at me anxious as if he had a very important question to ask me.

Ashton had just joined a band with three other guys. they had named the band 5 Seconds of Summer. I walked over to him and Bree, and he immediately blurted out his question. "would you like me to take you to meet my band mates?" "yes Ashton I would love it!" I replied very, very loudly. "okay after school today, we have practice so you can sit in on it" he said. "sounds perfect!" I said giving him a big bear hug.

I looked over at Ashton and asked softly, "can Bree come too?" he looked over at an anxious Bree, "well of course, it wouldn't be any fun without her!" she smiled at his response and gave him a hug in return also. we talked for the rest of lunch until it was over, and then went to our fifth period class we all had together. Ashton grabbed Bree and I's books and walked us to class.

on the way there, Logan, the schools bad boy, purposely bumped into Ashton and said "watch where you're going gay boy!" I noticed Ashton getting teary eyed as he walked past Logan ignoring him with Bree and I close behind.

I caught up to him and put my hand on his back. I rubbed his back slightly in the most comforting way possible. we walked into class and all sat next to each other. I gave Ashton a big hug and played with his hair a bit. our fingers intertwining as tears fell down his face. I wiped away his tears and told him "we'll always be here for you so don't listen to him." "thanks Lauren I'm glad to hear that." he said.

he eventually stopped crying and we went to the rest of our classes. after school, Bree and I met Ashton at his car and he drove us to his garage, where they held their band practices. we pulled up in the driveway and hopped out of the car. we walked up to the garage where the rest of the boys were already goofing off.

Ashton introduced us to all of the boys, Michael, Calum, and Luke. Michael, who had bright red hair, was fooling around with his guitar, Calum, a tan, fit, brunette boy, was chasing a tall, blonde, and blue eyed boy.

as we got closer to the garage the boys noticed us and slowly stopped what they were doing. they walked up to us and the tall, blonde said "you must be the beautiful Lauren Ashton always talks about! I'm Luke." he said holding out his hand. "I'm Lauren." you said shaking his hand back.

hey it's mad and cat! sorry about the lack of authors note last chapter. we will be updating as much as we can, and will take turns writing the chapters.
