Luke's P.O.V.
for Lauren and I's date I took her to go see the movie The Fault in Our Stars. she cried for most of the movie so I cuddled her up to me and played with her hair and gently rubbed her back the whole time.
after the movie was over, I took her back to the car and I finally did it! I kissed her! "thanks for tonight." I told her after the kiss. I pecked her lips and we both got back in the car.
after we got in the car, I played her one of the songs the band had been working on. the song was called Long Way Home. then, I took her out for ice cream. the whole ride there our fingers were intertwined and our hands were always connected. I would sometimes gently rub her thigh, but I tended to hold her hand more. God she was beautiful.
I played her some more songs and we talked and talked the whole ride there. she was just so perfect. I had never had this feeling before. just when I held her hand there was some sort of connection. "I was actually really glad you asked me out tonight" she admitted. "my pleasure!" I replied.
when we finally arrived, I gave her another long kiss. I just couldn't help myself. she seemed to enjoy it I planted another gentle kiss on her lips, while pulling up to the ice cream place.
