Anaheim became famous for their hockey team from another planted, everyone knows that. But no one is aware, of the best team of the Anaheim high school. For Emily is this total disaster. A young teenager is frustrated, that there are no girl teams in this place. No sports team that represents the school like the boys hockey team does. She was allowed to train with them during lessons, but when it comes to the games against other opponents, she gets replaced by a guy.
One day, she had enough.
Emily got herself five more girls that wanted to give hockey a try. But there was one problem, they didn't have a coach. No one that supported disciplined or showed them how to be tough in this sport. Books, self-learning and tutorials was all they had for this. But nothing could ever replace an experienced coach. They need someone who is with them physically and not on a screen.
The teenagers had an idea one day, heading towards the pond.
The alien ducks didn't know what is heading their way, as the doorbell rang. Nosedive checked on who just arrived, "A bunch of girls. What do they want?" Wild wing came over, not recognizing the teens from anywhere, "I don't know." Grin and Duke didn't care, as their mind was focusing on the chessboard in front of them. Mallory offered herself to sort this out, using the elevator to get to the stadium.
Emily was really excited to see the female duck opening the doors, "Yes?"
"Are you Mallory?"
The duck nodded, "And?"
The girl stepped forward, "We want to be the Anaheim high school's new girl's hockey team...but we need a coach."
Mallory sighted, "Try it elsewhere, we are busy." With that, she closed the door and left the teenagers alone. One of the girls couldn't believe it, "Is she serious?"
Another thought the same thing, "Who does she thinks she is?"
Emily held their shoulders slightly, "She is a pro at this game...but so will we." She had a plan. The manager of the pond, allows people to take the stadium for their own activities for a few hours. The girls took this as a chance to get their new coach. In their own gear, which happens to be old ones from the boys, they got onto the ice and practiced.
Meanwhile, the ducks were extremely bored.
They wanted to train themselves, but have to wait for the few hours till everyone leaves. But they could watch the guest, this they are allowed to do. Mallory, Dive, Duke and even Wild wing checked out what people are on the ice today. Normally they see a teacher and little figure skaters most of the time...but a hockey team was rare. Duke got interested, seeing them get together to discuss the game, "I wonder how good they are."
Dive looked rather bored at the girl's team, "Probably not good at all. They look like newbie's at this sport." The way we began to play, it only made him close his eyes. We were awful!
Wild wing nodded, agreeing with his brother, "And the way they play, they must be new to this."
Mallory remembered what they asked before, looking at the boys, "They don't have a coach, so how are they supposed to know?" Duke came up with the offer to teach them, but the rest of the ducks refused. No one wanted to waste their free time on a hobby hockey team.
It all changed, as a bunch of boys came in, with the same outfits.
They didn't have to see what is going on, as they went against the girl's team, humiliating them big time. Nosedive couldn't stand it, "That is not fair, they know how to play!" Wild wing nodded, "Yeah, they seem to love to be mean." Duke sees this as a no go in this pond, not while he is around, "We got to help the girls." The ducks are all ready to get on the ice to beat up the guys, as Mallory stopped them, "Let me handle this."
