today was the day i have been dreading. i legitimately had not spoke to jaden in two weeks. i had no idea if he was even still coming. ryland has been here in north carolina with me for the past two weeks, thankfully. alejandro and the jersey boys showed up about five days ago so it was nice to spend time with them, as well.
"how are you going to do your hair, lyds?" mattia asked me.
he always used to help me curl my hair back when we were dating.
"i'll probablt just curl it and pin some of it back. my mom said it can be super laid back." i replied.
"do you want help?"
"always." i smiled.
it made me so happy that i was back on good terms with mattia. he was my first love and i'm so thankful to have him share this day with me.
my mom ran into my bedroom where everyone was just lounging about.
"lydia!" she yelled.
"yes mom?"
"the girl who was supposed to do my hair tested positive for coronavirus and now i have no one to do my hair. can you do it, please?" my mom frowned.
"oh my god, mom, of course i can." i replied, walking out of my room.
"don't touch my shit." i yelled back at the boys.
it didn't take horribly long to do my mom's hair. she wanted it up and out of her face but also to be elegant and beautiful. i had free reign from there.

i added flowers into it to make it more elegant and sent her on her way.
i now had to do mine and kaylyn's hair. i wanted it to be similar to my mom's but not the exact same.
kaylyn and i looked on pinterest for a while before deciding on a curled look with flowers in it.
