I stood there as if waiting for someone while people started to leave the old scary cemetery.

"Dad, I wanna see Mom, Where'd she go?" I enquired.

He looked at me, his eyes swollen. He looked dead but awake. He stared at me, As it was a comfortable, beautiful silence.

" She is travelling somewhere far away because she is tired and she is gonna rest, Lu", My dad said lightly.

I nodded understandingly.

I woke up breathing harder than ever.

That is when I realized that me and daddy never communicated properly like how daughter-father would, We would only talk about work and nothing else and that we Never had a family dinner or family time together.

It is hard breathing in this stinky washroom or even living at the worst.

Adam busted in the room and looked like he was fighting with someone and came in to hide in here.

He locked the door while panting trying to breathe.

" What do you think you are doing?" I signed

" It's a long story I was just trying to get you out and Marco suddenly started to wrestle with me." He said proudly.

" then what are you running for?"

"Ah well, that"

" I'm waiting" I said getting impatient and losing my temper point.

" He is chasing me, so I am just hiding"

" I know that! Just why here out of all the places here?!" My hands moving frantically to do my sign language.

" Do Not Yell at me" Adam said with his teeth clenched hard.

I got the creeps and sat as far as I could away from him. He sat on the floor a few moments later.

½ hour of the uncomfortable silence, Adam got up and left the room.

What the hell is his problem.

As soon as Adam was about to leave, Marco entered with a pistol in his hands and shot Adam in his leg

I screamed. So hard it could've been like a car honking.

I ran, out of the room while the Marcus dude pinned Adam to the floor and put a headlock on him.

While he continued doing a headlock on Adam, I ran out of the room, frightened to my core.

Marcus saw

I looked straight to be careful about safety first. The road was hard and broken and seemed like no one had used it for a pretty long time. I looked at my surroundings to find a way to get out of this city.

The sky was getting as I turned around once again to look if he was after me. I didn't see anyone and felt like I was free for a moment.

I ran and ran and waited for a vehicle to come by but none did... I rested for a while and started walking straight ahead.

I walked, and walked as I became tired and hugry.

I found and an old house with an old couple talking to eachother.

They saw me in my attire and came closer.

" Oh my God, What happened to this young girl? Are you okay, my dear?" The old lady said her face full of concern.

I was on the verge of fainting from being exhausted, so I couldn't reply to her.

" Come in, and take some rest in, my dear" she said.

Her voice was very familiar like it was a past memory, but I ignored it.

All I wanted now was too sleep in my bed and take a shower and eat like a pig. 😏

I went in their house and it had a Rosewood smell to it.

The house was big and beautiful.

" What would you like to eat, Miss..?" The butler asked.

" Bread" I signed since it was the easiest to sign

The butler left but kept looking sideways at me. It kinda creeped me out because he had the same scar as the man who caught my legs when Anna was there.

"Miss Harrington, Why don't you go take a nap and rest for a while?" The old woman noticed my suspicions against the butler as she said it.

I nodded and looked for a room a sleep in, I knew this place didn't have a good feeling with it but I left that. Wait..... How do they know I am a Harrington?. I decided it was the best to leave and not take the risks of sleeping in this weird house

I walked towards the main door and walked away. I heard noise behind as heavy footsteps approached and walked in the same speed as me.

"Where are you going, Miss?" The butler's sound echoed in the dessert road.

I ignored him and walked faster but steady.

"At this time in the night..... Is dangerous, It'd be better if you come with me" He said

I nodded but still kept walking.

"Miss. I think it's better to come to stay inside and continue your journey tomorrow." He said slowly.

I turned to glance at him as it was the butler, but with two other men next to him.

I started walking forward, as he started following me back.

"Cheryl would be heartbroken to know that you ditched her, you know? Are you sure you're gonna go? Not like I care about Cheryl."
