I woke up with the blinding lights directed on my eyes. I yawned as I noticed it was still early, the room was literally the most lit room in my guess, with those exquisite chandeliers, it was as beautiful as a ballroom I thought.

A group of armed security came in a circle covering the person entirely in between.

"Lauran" Adam whispered.

I stared at him in disgust. He ran to me trying to put me in a tight hug. A hug was all I wanted ever since he left.... I was desperate to just get a big hug from someone. I pushed him with all the energy I had in me, he looked hurt. He turned around facing the other side and said, "You don't even want to look at me now. I see. Well, I just wanted to tell you, you will probably get engaged around at" He glanced at his watch, "Ah, it's pretty late. I am sure I asked for an earlier time." He grunted. "Get ready by 12 pm, Laura," He said and left the room.

I watched as he left. I was astounded and shocked and wanted to scream so bad, but I will not let him win yet....

The maids pulled and pushed me, but to no avail of course since I was completely firm. I thought. Soon later they started dragging me which absolutely worked. Since they were amazingly strong.

Help me. I signed.

She whispered a 'sorry' with a helpless look and closed the door.

Tears streamed down my face, though I made no noise at all... I stared at my reflection at the legendary mirror. I felt horrified looking at myself, as I never dressed like this before.

Who am I going to marry? I signed.

The lady understood and said, "The eldest heir of this family, My Lady".

I looked up as she started fixing my Make-up, and after an hour of sitting there like an idle. The artist looked at me in awe.

What is the time? I signed, my lower back hurting from sitting.

"It's 10 am, My Lady" she said.

I stared at her. 3 HOURS?!

"You must try on this dress" She pointed at a dress behind her, It was the most extraordinary dress she had ever seen. The fabric beyond the satin had a gleaming beauty to it.

What is the name? I enquired.

"The Diamond Gown, My Lady"

The gown was just as its amazing name. The Diamond Gown...

She left the room implying me to change in the gown. I wore it as it fit perfect on my body, fitting in the right curves.

I looked at myself in the mirror. Wow.

It was so beautiful, that I doubted if it were me myself.

I got on my right mind and thought, I must run and hide somewhere...

I thought of a plan while I didn't notice someone coming in the room.

"You look beautiful" A young boyish sound whispered behind my ear, tickling it.

I took a sharp turn, as I saw who it was.

Marcos.
