New Love Story (A Jai Brooks Fanfiction)

Waking up

L U C I
*beep *beep *beep

I hear the sound of a monitor next to me. I try opening my eyes but can't. Augh not this again! Am I in another coma!? Or did I just pass out!? I hear voices around me but can't make them out. After about an hour of trying to move I give up and go back to sleep.

I wake up again and try to open my eyes slowly. Yes it's working! I fully open my eyes and see Jai next to me.

"J-" I can barely talk. I clear my throat and try again "Jai" my voice comes out raspy.

"Omg Luci! Your awake! Thank god! Let me get the doctor!" Says Jai jumping up!

"No! I have to talk to you. What happened?" I ask.

"Well... What do you remember?" Asks Jai. I think hard.

"Well the last thing I remember is you doing the scavenger hunt for me and then asking me to be your girlfriend again and I said yes!" I smile thinking back to the memory.

"Well... You've miss a lot. A lot has changed...." Says Jai scratching the back of his neck.

"Tell me only the important stuff" I say

"Well first of all we're not dating anymore. Your dating Cameron Dallas. You have been for 7 months. He's not here bc I convinced him to go home for New Years. Anyways your bestfriends are the janoskinas and the old magcon but I'm your best best friend! So it was your 20th birthday and we threw you a surprise party and we went paint balling and rode dirt bikes. You where with Cam and I was with Luke. Your bike lost control. It wouldn't stop. Cam jump but you were to scared. The bike went up the side of the course and you fell. Hard. You hit your head and have been out for 2 weeks so it's January 3rd 2015 today." Says Jai. Wow I have missed a lot.

"Wait so where not dating anymore? But I loved you.. I still do.. and you loved me. What happened to that?" I asks.

"You'll remember it all soon. Doc said your memory would slowly come back in about a year Because it was the second time you injured your head. Luci you weren't supposed to make it." Says Jai tearing up.

"What?" I whisper.

"Most people don't survive a serious head injury. The doctors thought if you didn't wake up in a week you would die. I never lost faith though. I made them wait and now your finally awake. If you didn't wake up you would be gone. Forever." He says crying.

"Shhhh it's ok. I'm okay. Just some memory lose and....?" I look down.

"A broken leg and a bruised rib." Says Jai calming down.

"See that's not that bad! We can get the doc then head home! The you can help me remember all of my memory's again!" I say smiling. "Wait do I still live with you?" I ask. He shakes his head.

"You live in Cam and Nash's apartment. But you can come back and live with us if you'd like. Katie broke up with me so our guest room is empty again..." Says Jai. Who's Katie!? Jai has a girlfriend!?

"Yes please! Wait who's Katie?" I ask.

"Oh she was um my girlfriend for about a month. But because I practically lived here for a week she broke up with me because she knows I still love you. And btw I convinced Cam to go home for New Years. He knew you wouldn't remember him." Says Jai. I nod my head.

"So were are the boys?" I ask.

"They're actually on a plane from Australia. I'm supposed to meet them at the airport in 3 hours." Says Jai looking at the clock.

"Then get the doctor and let's go home!" I tell Jai. He laughs then head out. The doc comes in with Jai right behind him.

"Hello Luci I am your doctor. Dr. johns" he says while shaking my hand and smiling. I smile back.

"You are very lucky Luci! And very very strong! Everything seems to be doing great! So I'll just get you your crutches that you'll be wearing for a month and then you can leave!" Says doc. I smile and say thank you.

"Here are your clothes. I'll be outside if you need anything" says Jai handing me a bag. He walks out and I quickly change. I call him back in and we sit on the bed just chatting.

The doc walks in and hands me my crutches. Jai helps me up and I hop out on my two crutches.

*in the car heading home*
After we signed the papers and I got my medicines, we got in the car and headed home. When we got home Jai helped me out and carried my bag.

"We'll go get your other stuff from Nash and Cam's house later" says Jai. I nod.

He carries my up the stairs then sets me on the guest bed.

"So I have to leave to pick up the guys in 10 minutes." Says Jai.

"Have you told them I'm awake yet?" I ask.

"No they think we're going to the hospital right after I pick them up." Says Jai taking out his phone.

"Don't tell them! I want to come with and surprise them!!" I say . He laughs.

"Luci you should get some rest." He says.

"I've been sleeping for two weeks! I think it's about time!" I laugh. He carries me back downstairs and into the car.

At the airport Jai carries me onto a wheelchair and pushes me to the boys gate. Once we get there there's already people getting out. I wait until I see my boys. I start smiling like an idiot. Jai runs up to them and gives them all hugs. He whispers something to them then they all look at me. Next thing I know I'm in a huge group hug.

"Omg I miss you soooo much! Thank god your back!" I hear all the boys say.

"I'm glad to be back! But I don't remember that much." I pout.

"Ya Jai told us how much you remember and how much he filled you in on" says Luke. I nod.

The boys take turns pushing me through the airport and then Jai carries me into the car.

"Here's you phone." Says Jai handing me my phone.

"Theres still the same things on it. So it'll help you get some of your memories back." Adds Luke. I thank them and go on my phone. I scroll through my texts.

"You should've seen Twitter Luci! The fans love you! They where even more supportive then the first time!" Says Beau. I smile the open Twitter.

I see that all the boys had tweeted that I was back and don't remember much. I see #MemoriesForLuci start to trend on Twitter. I see some memories that I remember and some I don't. I see picture of Cam and I, magcon boys, youtubers, viners, and my work. I read some of the old tweets and see I had some rough couple of months.

Maybe it's better if I don't remember everything that happened before the accident....
