New Love Story (A Jai Brooks Fanfiction)

Today is Monday which means it's my first day back at work!!! Apparently I met Dylan O' Brian and we become really good friends so I'm excited!!

I get to work in one piece and quickly run inside. I show my ID and everyone says they're glad I'm back and okay. I go into the photoshoot room and set up the camera and the lights.

"Luci!?!?" Says someone from behind me I. I turn around and see Dylan O' Brian. Omg he's hotter in person!

"Dylan!!! Oh and by the I lost my memory so I don't remember you." I say pouting.

"Oh that's alright! We were pretty good friends though! Plus our photo shoots were the besttttttt!!!" He says giving me a hug.

After he tells me all about our memories together, we take the photoshoot which was so much fun! He left about 5 minutes ago and now I'm packing my stuff up to leave. I feel arms snake around my waist and a hand cover my eyes.

"Guess who." He says. I smile immediately knowing who.

"Hmmmm Dave Franco?" I say.

"No silly its me!!" He says turning me around.

"Oh bummer it's just the James Yammouni not Dave Franco." I say pretending to cry. He hits me playfully on the arm then gives me a hug.

"So what are you doing here? You know I was going to be home in like half an hour?" I say confused.

"I know. I was just thinking I could take you out. For dinner?" He says smiling.

"Sure let me finish grabbing my stuff then we'll go ya?" I say smiling back. He lets go of me then I quickly pack my stuff and head out with him.

"So were we going?" I ask him getting into the car.

"You'll see." He says smirking.

"Augh why do people never tell me!?!?" I sigh. He laughs. We jam out in the car to the radio and then he stops the car. He jumps out of the car and runs over to my side and opens the door. I jump out and take his hand. He leads me up a big hill and lays down at the top. He pats the spot next to him so lay down next to him.

"Wow it's beautiful" I say looking up at the star lite sky.

"I know right? It's one of the only places in LA where you can see all of the stars perfectly." He says smiling up at them.

"Ya. How'd you find this place?" I ask him.

"I was taking a walk one day and found this big hill. I climbed it and thought I would come back at night. And it was amazing. So now it's just the place I come to think and relax." He says. I nod my head and smile at him.

"So James Yammouni, you said you would take me out to dinner. But I don't see any dinner around." I say.

"Well the guys prepared a really big dinner and all because we have a big announcement to tell you! They thought I was going out to get the food.... But instead I decided to take you out before... Never mind." He says shaking his head.

"No tell me. Before what?" I ask. He sighs.

"Before you and Jai start dating again. Then I won't have a chance." He says.

"And how do you know that'll happen?" I ask him.

"It's so obvious." He says.

"Well I don't think we'll get back together anytime soon." I sigh.

"Why?" He says getting on his side leaning his face against his arm.

"Because truth is... I got the memory back of why Jai and I broke up... It's one of the only big memories I got back... I cheated on him James. We're not good for each other." I say.

"Luci you guys are perfect for eachother. What's a relationship without bumps along the road? You guys love eachother." He says.

"Why are you trying to get us back together if you like me too?" I ask.

"Because Jai is my best mate and so are you. You guys make each other happy. And if your happy, I'm happy." He says looking down.

"James, do you love me?" I ask him. He sighs and looks down.

"Y-yes.... Yes Luci I do love you. But you would never l-" I cut him off by kissing him. It's a short soft kiss but with a lot of passion and feelings in it. He cups my face in his hands and kisses me again. I lay down in his arms and we cuddle up close.

"I like you too James." I say. I can feel him slightly smiling. Because he knows that deep down I still love Jai. But we're no good for each other if all we do is hurt each other. Jai will find another girl. I know he will.

"We should get going. The guys are going to be wondering were we are." Says James.

"Ya. Let's go." I say getting up. We head into the car and drive off. On the car ride home I start to think about James and I.

"James?" I ask him.

"Hm?" He says turning down the music.

"What does this make us? What are we going to tell the boys? Most importantly what are we going to tell Jai?" I say.

"Well I think we should take it slow. I'm so happy I have a chance and I don't want to ruin it. And for now, don't tell them until we are officially together." Says James.

"Ok sounds good." I say. We hop out of the car and right before we walk in James gives me another kiss. I smile at him. We walk in and the boys think James just picked me up from work because that's what we texted them. We sit in the table together and start to eat.

"Luci!!! We have a big announcement" says Beau.

"Ya huge babe. Your going to love it!! Says Jai putting his hand on my leg. I move slightly uncomfortable by his touch. I look at James who looks angry. I brush Jai's hand off me.

"Ok what is it?" I say with a fake smile.

"WERE GOING TO MELBOURNE!!!!" Scream the boys. Yay!! MELBOURNE!! I've always wanted to meet all their family and friends! Plus I loveeeee Australia!!

"Yay!!! When are we going!!" I say jumping up and down in my seat. The boys laugh. Daniel looks down at his phone.

"Umm two days." He says. My eyes open wide.

"Two days!?!? How long are we staying there for!?!?" I asks.

"About a month." Says Luke. I yell and sprint up the stairs to start packing I hear the boys laugh behind me.

I'm about two hours into packing when I hear a knock on my door.

"Come in!" I yell. I see Jai walk in with a bowl of ice cream. I say thanks and start eating while giving myself a break.

"Luci we have to talk." Says Jai.

"Ok what is it?" I ask.

"Do... Do you love me?" He asks. Yes. Always have always will.

"Yes..." I say. He smiles.

"I love you too." He says closing the space between us leaning in. Oh god I wanna kiss him so bad. I put my hand on his chest lightly. I shake my head. He looks confused.

"Jai... I don't think we're good for eachother... Truth is I know why we broke up... I got that memory back about 2 days ago.. We're not good for eachother Jai." I say looking down.

"That's exactly what I said to you remember? But we're both wrong! We need eachother to be happy!" He says.

"Yes we do need eachother! But that doesn't mean we have to date to be happy!! We can still be friends. See other people?? It'll be like right now! We're both happy and we're not hurting eachother. Please Jai just give this another chance." I plead.

"Ok Luci.. Whatever you want." He says kissing my forehead. I give him a big hug.

"I love you. Always have always will." I say. I feel him smiling.

"Forever and always." He says.
