Hiding Spot

I wake up in James' arms. I look up and see him sleeping. I smile then cuddle up closer to him.

"BEST FRIENDS YOU ARE MY FUCKING BEST FRIENDS." Augh. I groan. I push myself off James and grab my phone. I sit up on his bed and answer.

"Hello" I croak out.

"Luci!!!" Yells Jai.

"Jaiiiii" I yawn back.

"Get up and get ready! I'm going to show you around Melbourne." Says Jai.

"Right now?" I ask.

"Yes now! Im heading over in 20 minutes so hurry the fuck up." He yells.

"Okay! Stop yelling! Bye!" I say and hang up. I lay back down in bed.

"Who was it?" Asks James not opening up his eyes.

"Jai. He said he wanted to show me around. Said he'd be over in 20. Is that alright?" I ask.

"Ya that's fine Luci. Just because we're dating doesn't mean you can't hang out and do stuff with the guys you know that right?" He says grabbing my face. I nod then kiss him and run off into the bathroom.

I quickly shower and change into jeans and a dirty pig hoodie. I grab my vans and run outside. I run into someone and fall.

"I'm so sorry!" I say looking up.

"It's fine!" Says Joyce? I think? Standing up then helping me up.

"Joyce right?" I ask

"Yup! That's me! Luci right?" She says.

"Yup! Well I gotta go! I'm running late and Jai doesn't like being late! Bye!" I say picking up my shoes and running off. I hear her laughing at me.

I slide across the floor and see James and some other people sitting at the table.

"Hey Luci! This is Mark, Cameron, the gardener, Rosie and Rita." He says pointing them out. I recognize some from yesterday.

"Hi!" I say back. James walks towards me.

"When are we telling the boys?" He asks.

"Invite them over and we'll tell them when Jai and I get back ya?" I ask.

"Ya okay we'll tell my family then too." I nod then hear someone walk in and quickly pull away. I see Jai. I give him a hug and say bye to everyone then walk out.

*at the park*
"Cmon Luci I need to show you something." He says walking ahead.

"Augh Jai we've been walking for over an hour now." I whine.

"We're almost there cmon!!" He yells at me to hurry. I fast walk and catch up to me. He takes me to a big bush that spreads across the whole side of the park. He walks right through the bush. Oh god.

"Do I have to go through that?" I ask.

"Yes!" He screams from the other side. I sigh. I pull my sleeves and put the hood over my head and squeeze through the bush. I fall face first into the grass. Okay cool. I get up and brush myself off.

I look around and see we're in an open field with trees and bushes surrounding it. It's beautiful. Jai takes me over to the tree in the middle and sits me down.

"Why'd you take me here Jai? Not that I'm complaining. I mean it's beautiful." I say looking around again.

"This is my secret hiding spot. I come here to think and for privacy. It's pretty quit and no one else knows about it. Well except for you, me, and one other person..." He says.

"Who was it?" I ask.

"Well back when I was dating Ariana I thought it would help our relationship if I showed her my special spot. So I did. She broke her nail trying to climb in and started crying and screaming. She hated me for trying to show her this place. And so I never showed anyone again. But you were different. I knew you wouldn't mind a couple of trees and bushes." He laughs. I smile.

"Well I can tell why this place is your quit place. It's very calming and peaceful." I say closing my eyes and laying against the trees. I feel Jai staring at me so I open one eye and I see him looking at me. He quickly looks away.

"Sorry... It's just..." He says looking away again.

"It's just what?" I say getting up.

"Your beautiful." He says turning around. I open my mouth to say something but can't.

"Sorry.. I know I've told you this millions of times but I love you Luci. And I know what your going to say back that we should only be friends and stuff and I get it. I'm trying I really am! But it's really hard Luci it's really hard." He says starting to cry. I give him a huge hug.

"Shhh it's okay I get it." I say. He pulls away standing up.

"No you don't! You have boys begging you to be your boyfriend! Your the one that broke up with me! You broke my heart Luci." He says calming down a little bit. I don't know what to say. I see his eyes and face relax a little bit.

"I'm sorry. I just... I had to get that off my chest before I blew up even more than I just did.." He says looking down. I run up to him and give him a hug. I look into his eyes and kiss his cheek.

"We should start heading back to the house." I whisper in his ear. He nods and walks out.

*at James' house*
I walk in with Jai behind me and he raises and eyebrow. I give him a thumbs up and a small nod and we get everyone to meet around the kitchen. We both stand in front of everyone.

James clears his throat.

"We have something we'd like to tell you guys!" Says James. I smile and nod waiting for him to go on. He gives me a slight nudge.

"Oh right. Um many of you probably already know or had a clue about it..." I say swaying uncomfortably back and forth starring at Jai.

"Ya sooooo ummm Luci and I are-" begins to say James. But I cut him off

"Having our own radio show. Yup. James and I are having our own radio show." I say. I can't tell Jai. It'll break him even more. But we have to tell the boys or james will break up with me.

James looks at me.

"Luci what are you doing?" He whispers. I sigh.

"Sorry guys... I'm just nervous. And I don't know why because I really do like him and he loves me." I say looking up at James. He smiles grabbing my hand. I take a deep breath in.

Here goes nothing.

SORRY I HAVENT UPDATED! PROBABLY MY LAST UPDATE WILL BE THIS WEEK! I JUST HAVENT HAD TIME WITH FINALS AND STUFF! AND I DONT KNOW WHAT ELSE TO DO WITH THIS BOOK SO IM PROBABLY GOING TO END IT!
