'Morning beautiful,' Cheryl said from the other side of the room as Toni woke up.
Cheryl finished making coffee and gave one of the cups to Toni, laying back down next to her with her own cup.
'Thanks babe,' Toni said, setting the cup down on the table by her bed and cuddling into her girlfriend.
The sun only came out for a few hours a day in Sweden, but it was getting light outside. It was 9am.
The girls got ready for the day after having cuddles for about 30 minutes. Since it was so cold, they had to wear huge snowsuits. Cheryl's was red and black and Toni's was pink and grey.
'How do you make even a snowsuit look sexy?' Toni asked, looking her girlfriend up and down.
Cheryl laughed, heading out of the door.

'Wow, it smells amazing in here!!' Toni said as the girls walked into the little food court.
Like the cabin, it was also built out of wood. The tables and chairs were wooden and the counters were full of loads of different foods.
Cheryl and Toni grabbed a plate and began walking along one of the counters.
Cheryl chose pancakes and fruit and Toni chose a croissant with butter and strawberry jelly.
They got a glass and headed to the drink dispenser. There was apple juice, orange juice and warm cranberry juice.
'Have you had warm cranberry juice before?' Cheryl asked Toni.
'Nope, but it smells great so I'm going to get some,' she replied, filling her small glass.
Cheryl did the same, wanting to try the new drink.
They sat down by a large window on a little table with one seat either side. There was an open fireplace burning on the wall behind them, it warmed up the room perfectly.
'Look at the view,' Toni breathed, looking out of the window that was right next to them.
It showed forest for as far as the eye could see, super tall pine trees reaching high, the green leaves a great contrast to the pure white snow.
Cheryl reached for her girlfriend's hand from across the table, their fingers intertwined as they looked out at the winter wonderland before them.
———————————————————
'Welcome to the husky rides,' an older man said. He had a weathered face but a large smile, you could tell that he'd done this for most of his life. 'Just sit here and hold on tight!'
Cheryl sat down first. The seat was like a sled, so she swung her left leg over the back of it and lowered herself onto the wooden structure. Toni sat in front of her, with Cheryl's hands wrapped around her waist.
Both girls made sure to place their feet on the little wooden pieces on either side of the sled.
'You ready?' The man asked.
'Yeah,' both girls called in response.
'Hee-yah,' the man called.
The huskies immediately began running, pulling the sled around the circle track. It was a big open circle in the forest where trees had been cut down to make a perfect place for the husky rides to happen.
Cheryl held onto Toni so tight, scared to let her go.
'I love you baby,' she whispered into her ear, kissing her head.
'I love you too, Cheryl, I love you too,' she told her without looking backwards.
Despite the freezing cold weather, both girls felt a warmth radiate inside of them, it was like the other girl made them feel safe, invincible even.
Once they'd gone around the track a few times, the dogs came to a stop.
Toni hopped off of the sled first, then she reached her hand out to help Cheryl get off.
'Thank you,' both girls said to the man, 'thanks to you guys as well,' Cheryl cooed to the large dogs.
'No problem, take care,' he told them with a kind smile.

When the girls got back to their cabin, they got changed into some lighter clothes.
'Isn't it crazy how warm these clothes keep you?' Cheryl said, attempting to fold up her snow suit.
'Yeah, I didn't get cold at all,' Toni said.
'So what are we going to do this afternoon babe?' Cheryl asked.
'So, I brought something for us to do,' Toni said, going to the suitcase.
She pulled out a large glass jar and handed it to Cheryl.
It had a tag on it that she read out loud, 'gingerbread cookie mix,' she read, realising what it was, 'that's so cool TT, gingerbread is my favourite!'
'I know, that's why I brought it babe,' she said, heading over to the small, black oven to preheat it.
She set it to 350 degrees, which is what she'd read in the instructions.
They carried on folding up their snow gear for the following day so that it'd be ready, then they started making the cookies.
'You made such a mess!!' Cheryl shouted at Toni, who'd spilt some of the flour mix on the side. 'There's more on the side than there is in the bowl!!'
'Don't be dramatic, I'll clean it up,' she joked, kissing her girlfriend's cheek.
Toni loved the girl standing next to her, she was her best friend, her world, her everything. And in that moment, nothing else mattered but Cheryl... and cleaning up the flour before she was beheaded.
