"So, was Hannah the mastermind?" Sapphire asked.
"No she isn't." SoMason revealed. He pulled the papers back out. "But the mastermind is one of us. And I know exactly who it is." People gasped, including me.
"You don't wanna do that." Monokuma said flustered.
"Yes I do. The mastermind is..." a spike shot up and impaled Mason right then and there. Blood was splattered all over the papers. "I-it's..." he said with his dying breath. He tried to bring his hand up to point at the mastermind, but his hand fell and he was announced deceased. There were now eight of us.
"Why... Why did you do that?" I asked Monokuma. "Isn't that against the rules? He didn't kill anyone."
"Check again, everyone. It is completely in the rules." He said. Ignoring Monokuma, I quickly grabbed the papers, which were practically unreadable. They were all emails addressing someone. The only letter I could make out was the first letter; c. There are only three people with c as the first letter of their name: Colin, Christy, and Cierra.
"The mastermind's name starts with a c." I explained. The three of them looked at me in shock.
"There is no way that is true!" Cierra huffed.
"Yeah. I didn't do nothing." Colin remarked.
"How do you expect us to believe that when it came from someone like you?" Andrew snapped.
"What is wrong with you?" I asked.
"No, what is wrong with you?" he retaliated. "I thought I was the lowlife, but you're nothing more than a worthless piece of garbage. You're no ultimate." he spat as he walked out of the trial room. I looked at him in confusion. What did I do? What does he mean I'm no ultimate? I'm at Hope's Peak academy, just like everyone else.
"The kids crazy." Jaiden sighed.
"Yeah, dont worry about it." Dominic reassured. "You're an ultimate, just like all of us." he gestured to the six of them, still in their trial spots. He's... he's right. I am an ultimate. I may not know what my talent is, but I know I have one. I have to have one. Why else would I be here? The seven of us walked into the elevator and back to our dorms, leaving me thinking about Andrew's words.
I woke up the next morning, still in my dorm bed. Still in this nightmare. I rolled out of bed and walked into the kitchen, gathered breakfast, and walked out of the kitchen and headed towards the gym. I walked to the door, opened it, and immediately dropped the food. Not again, please. Four people were tied up at the center of the stage, bags over their heads. Andrew was walking towards them, knife in hand. Jaiden and Saphire grabbed his hands, trying to stop him, but he swung them off and pointed the knife towards them. When he swung around he noticed me at the door. "This is what you wanted right?! Someone with a c?!" he screamed. I didn't say anything. "Huh? Answer me Adam! I am going to end this once and for all, so tell me, who is the mastermind?!" Suddenly, all the lights went out, leaving us in complete darkness.
"What the hell is going on?" The words came from Jaidens voice. There was a loud crash and a slam of a door. There was another screech and then the light flickered back on. The four people were still on the stage, but Andrew wasn't in the gym. I ran over to the four on the stage to help them. I got to the first one, lifted the bag to reveal Dominic's face under the bag.
"Thanks mr. ultimate." He smiled. I walked to the next one to reveal Colin.
"Phew. You really came to the rescue." He sighed. The next one revealed Christy.
