"What proof do you have that I doth have a talent?" I asked Andrew. It's been three days, and all I've heard from him was nagging that I'm not an ultimate. He grabbed a cd out of his pocket and put it in the projector. There was a man in a dark suit on one side of the table, and on the other side was... Regan? He was with a man and woman, presumably his parents.
"I'm terribly sorry to disturb your private life, but we have important matters to discuss." The man in the dark suit said. "Due to... backlash from the public media, we will have to keep the personal, in school life of your child discreet. Hope's Peaks administration committee is trying their absolute hardest to get false accusations to the faculty and students cleared up. All I need from you three is for you to sign here." He slipped a piece of paper in front of the three. The video then cut off and reappeared with Caroline and her two parents. Hope's Peaks administration committee is trying their absolute hardest to get false accusations to the faculty and students cleared up. All I need from you three is for you to sign here." The same man said again as he slipped a piece of paper in front of them. The video kept cutting off and reappearing with a new student each time. Mason, Summer, Jaiden, Christy, Ezra, Matthew, Saphire, Lexi, Colin, Dominic...
"Where's Me? And where are you, Hannah, and Cierra?" I asked. He pulled out a packet of papers and handed them to me. It was the discretion contracts for all 16 students... except me.
"Hannah and Cierras parents asked for their meetings to be disclosed, and the school had to disclose mine because my parents are dead. It says that right there on the papers." He informed me. I looked through all of them again. Mine wasn't there. Andrews right. I'm just a nobody. "So that's the truth Adam. You're just a worthless, talentless person who snuck their way into this school." He pointed back to the four others. "Us five actually did something to get to where we are now! We worked hard. I'd call you the ultimate criminal, but you're not even that." He turned and left.
"Puhuhu, what drama!" Monokuma cackled. "Adam, hearing that, doesn't it just make you wanna kill someone?" I... I don't know. Do I? I want this killing game to stop, but Andrew is being a pain.
"No, it doesn't." I said back.
"As much as all of us want to think otherwise, I have to say you're lying." Dominic sighed.
"Really? I can't believe this." Saphire said.
"I can't believe we relied on you to solve all our mysteries." Jaiden scoffed.
"Looks like the tables have turned, Adam." Monokuma said. "You might as well just do it now." He chuckled and left.
"I'm leaving too. Get me away from this soon-to-be murderer." Jaiden stormed off. Saphire sighed and walked away.
"You're not gonna kill anyone, are you?" Colin asked.
"I'll sure try, but I don't know how much more I can deal with Andrew." I sighed.
"Hey, I'll see if I can shut him up." Dominic reassured me."
"We'll show that idiot who's boss." Colin agreed. The two of them walked out the door. Feeling like a loser, I walked out of the door. I walked into the bathroom and splashed water on my face. I'm here for a purpose right? I have to be. Out of anger, I turned and punched the wall. The brick came out way too easily, and I looked through the hole. There was a long, dark stairway with a light at the end. I pulled out the rest of the bricks and crawled my way through. I walked down the stairway by myself, not knowing what was at the end. When I got to the bottom, I quietly opened the door and looked in. There were around 100 tv screens showing different parts of the school. One screen had the other five people in the game room. It looked like Colin and Dominic were yelling at Andrew. There was a file container with four cabinets on it under TVs. I opened the first cabinet which had nothing in it. The second one was the jackpot. It was a stack of papers, all about one thing: the murder of the teacher that brought Hope's Peak into a spiral of chaos. They were printed emails to and from someone named 'The Ultimate Mastermind.' I looked through the emails, but the only thing I uncovered is that They Ultimate Mastermind' referred to the other party as 'sis'. Whoever this 'sis' is, she was the one who killed the teacher. They did it because 'The Ultimate Mastermind' told them to, to send the class into despair. There was a computer on the desk by the file container, and it made a noise and lit up. It was an email from someone by the name of 'Mr. Malicer.' There were only two words on the email, and they were who's next? Who's next? As in, who's the next to die? I can't believe this. This is being run by a whole underground operation, and they're almost treating it like it's a game. A game that I'm participating in. A game that Colin, Dominic, Jaiden, Andrew, and Saphire are participating in. A game that Summer, Regan, Hannah, and Christy lost. A game... that needs to end. I grabbed the papers, walked back to my dorm, locked the door, and stayed there for the rest of the day.
