Valar Morghulis(Definition): Throughout the Valyrian-speaking world, it is used to indicate acceptance of a potentially unpleasant truth or assignment.

Luke Lannister: Luke was born into one of the most prestigious and powerful families in Westeros, the Lannisters, however he is not proud of his family name in fact he is very ashamed to call himself a Lannister. Luke is furious after his brother is captured by Robb Stark and neither his Uncle Tywin nor his Cousin Cersei are doing anything to get him back instead they are using him as messenger. Hurt, upset and not wanting to fight in the war against the North, Luke does the only thing he can think of, he runs away and heads towards the Wall to take the black.

Calum Targaryen: Calum was born without a father; his mother raised him on her own and never told him the identity of his father. That is until she became very ill and on her death bed she finally revealed to Calum that his father was Viserys Targaryen. After his mother’s death Calum takes off in search of his father however as he passes through the Dothraki Sea he hears new that his father has been murdered by Khal Drogo. Without anywhere to go and with no remaining family, except for his Aunt Daenerys who he hates and blames for his father’s death, Calum decides to join the Night’s Watch

Ashton Stark: Ashton adores his half-brother Jon Snow, but just before the war Jon left Winterfell to join the Night’s Watch. After Ashton’s parents and oldest brother, Robb, leaves Winterfell as well it is up to him to become the lord of Winterfell. As the war progresses the job as Lord gets harder and harder and Ashton feels himself going mad. In a moment of weakness Ashton decides to leave his younger brother Bran in charge and he takes off to join Jon at Castle Black.

Michael Baratheon: Michael was a bastard. He had known it since he was 4-years old because that’s all his grandmother ever called him. Never Mike or Michael, it was always Bastard. Michael’s grandmother was bitter that his mother had gotten pregnant by King Robert but never told the king of his long lost heir. This left both Michael’s mother and his grandmother with the burden of raising him. Michael never told anyone that he was the king’s son and he led a normal calm life in King’s Landing up until his father died. Shortly after the king’s death the new king, King Joffery, sent out his men to kill every Baratheon Bastard in King’s Landing. Terrified of the King, Michael’s grandmother kicked him out of their home, telling him to run as fast as he could to Castle Black and to never tell anyone of his true identity.
