Taeyong and Jaehyun stood in front of Mrs. Lee, she looked stern and angry.

"What were you two doing this late?" She asked while Baekhyun was behind her, along with Johnny.

"Jaehyun and I just needed to buy more supplies and run to do some final touches for the upcoming school event" Taeyong asnwered and all eyes were him.

"Oh really? But Jeno and Johnny never informed me with any upcoming events?" She smiled devilishly. Taeyong hated that smile of hers.

"I-It started today and they told me I needed to have the supplies today, Jaehyun just helped me carry the stuff and gave me a ride" Taeyong was sweating despite the cold winds that was flowing against his skin.

"Really now? Taeyong you know I hate it when you lie, I'll just ask this dashing gentleman then" She turns his eyes on the younger, he was frozen.

"Tell me, Jaehyun, what were you doing? And what are you to my son?" She continues.

Taeyong's fingers were fidgeting to one another. Johnny not Baekhyun couldn't do anything because of the fear of being scolded by Mrs. Lee.

Jaehyun's mouth opened but not a single word came out.

"Won't talk huh? Well then" Taeyong's mom went to whisper something in Jaehyun's ear, which made the male turn pale.

"Fine! You win!" Jaehyun huffed and she smiled with success.

"Taeyong and I were—, we've been dating for some time now, and I took him somewhere far and I lost track of time" Jaehyun said while his face faced into Taeyong's betrayed eyes.

"And what about my beloved son's garden? Did you trespass there?" She circled around the young male while his eyes stayed on Taeyong's sad face.

"Y-Yes, I did"

"That's all I needed to hear" she laid a hand on Jaehyun's shoulder.

"But I invited him to come! He didn't trespass!" Taeyong shouted back.

"I said that is all I needed to hear, say goodbye to your simpleton-of-a-boyfriend because this will be the last time I will be allowing you to be wandering in school alone! Johnny, starting next week you are to be around Taeyong and make sure this middle class doesn't touch my son" She walked back towards her original place.

"Y-You can't do that!" Taeyong shouted once more, it was if all he needed to do was get on his knees so that his mother can't take away the boy that made him smile.

"Taeyong, she's right, you shouldn't be with a boy like me, maybe, I think we should end things from here, it was nice knowing you" Jaehyun's glance barely lasted a second before he rode his bike and went away.

Taeyong wanted to chase him but he couldn't, his heart broke and deteriorated into nothingness as he watches Jaehyun disappeared in the proximity of his eyes.

His mother smiled victoriously, everyone that has faced her always knew that she always wins and gets what she wants.

"Jeno was right, and yet you still lied to me, I expect nothing but you to finish high school and you are moving to your father's place next month with Jeno" she spoke for the last time as she went back inside the house, with Baekhyun trailing behind and Johnny, who can't look at the younger looking so dead, went inside as well.
