On the way back to the boathouse Alyssa was smiling brightly while clutching her phone in her hand. She smugly turned towards Argent as she put her phone in her pocket. "I knew I'd get your phone number, old man. Next-" Alyssa rubbed her hands together like a fly. "- the weapons."
Argent shook his head immediately as he looked down at the dirty blonde. "No way, you'd probably end up killing yourself." He scoffed they kept walking through the forest.
Suddenly Scott stopped walking and smelled the air. He could smell something rotten, it was a familiar smell. The smell of death. Scott told the two freshmen to go without him back to the lake house and started walking off with Argent.
"Dang it. I was this close to getting some new weapons or something." Alyssa threw her hands up in the air as they disappeared into the forest.
"I thought you didn't like Scott." Liam joked around, walking on a tree root beside Alyssa.
Alyssa went silent for a moment, quickly sobering up from her playful mood. The air went sour with tension, although Liam didn't notice at all. "I don't."
"Hm." Liam smiled as he turned to look at Alyssa to try to get her to repeat herself since he didn't hear her. He quickly noticed something was off by her guarded body language and slight frown. "Are you okay?" Liam reached out to grab her shoulder to get her to turn around but she swiftly moved forwards towards the house that was now in sight.
"Just peachy, Liam." Alyssa rolled her shoulders, as if to calm herself down and roll all the tension away.
Liam nodded slightly as they finally saw the house in sight. He knew he said something wrong but he didn't exactly know what it was. "Right."

Scott and Argent arrived to their destination rather quickly, the parking lot of the party. They were quite shocked when they stumbled upon the source of the smell, a decapitated head with the body a couple feet away. Scott, overwhelmed by the smell, covered his nose with his hand as Argent went to inspect it.
"He was killed recently." Argent bent down to examine the head and body of the dead guy.
"Definitely a werewolf." Scott removed his hand and slightly bent down. "There's more, I think he's part of a pack."
"Well, if he was, they'll be looking for him."
