Alyssa was waiting for class to start as she scrolled through her phone.
She felt a tingling spread through her body. The tingling soon turned to a sharp, hot pain.
She stood up quickly, her chair scratching the floor. Everyone in the class turned to her as she bolted out of the door to the classroom. As she ran through the door way she accidentally bumped against the teacher as she entered the class.
"Alyssa! Class is about to start. Get back here!" The teacher called after her but she just kept running.

Kira stood in the hallway with Scott as Stiles was trying to talk both of them into helping him.
Kira held her books closer to her chest. "An axe murderer?"
Stiles nodded his head frantically. "A family murdering axe murderer."
"I already heard about it." Scott scratched his head sheepishly.
Stiles looked bewildered as he stared at Scott. "Wait. What? You did? How?" He questioned without giving Scott time to answer.
"My mom called me. She knew we'd see it on the news." Scott explained while looking towards Kira.
Stiles nodded. "Perfect. Let's go."
"Whoa, whoa. We've got Econ in five minutes." Scott tried to convince Stiles to go to class.
Stiles furrowed his brows as he looked at the pair. "All right. Did you forget the part about the family murdering axe murderer?"
Scott foxes his backpack strap. "Did you forget that your dad's the sheriff? They want us to stay out of it." He glanced towards Kira for help.
Stiles gestures wildly at them. "Are you guys kidding me? There's a family murdering axe murderer and we're not going to do anything about it?"
Kira smiled softly towards Stiles. "Maybe we should just let the adults handle it."
"So two of you, you just want to stay here, school, go to class. Never heard anything so irresponsible in my life."
