So this is a new story, I'm going to put my all into it this time.

Prolouge

The tears are as hot as fire. They fall down my face as I run. My lungs tell me to stop but it's too much. If I stop they'll do it. This is the third time this month. The teachers aren't doing anything. Why aren't they DOING ANYTHING?!
"SMEAR THE QUEER! SMEAR THE QUEER!" The other kids chant behind me. The boys tackle me down. "I saw him looking at me in the locker room. He's a FAGGOT!" One kid screams.
"What's there to look at?" Comes out of my mouth the minute I think it. Why do I have to be SUCH A SMART ASS. He stomps on my stomach. I gasp for air. Black dots surround my eyes. Tears run down my face faster than they ever have before. I close my eyes, it's darker with them open.

When I open my eyes I'm in the principals office.
"Are you okay now?" He asks. I turn to look in the mirror next to his file cabnet. There is red lipstick surrounding my lips and the word "FAGGIT" written on my forehead. At least spell it right, guys.
"Ask the black eye and bruised stomach." I state. He rolls his eyes.
"Why can't you just be normal?" He sighs.
"Why can't you teach your son to treat humans like human beings?" His eyes shoot at me.
"Him beating you up is not the problem. Having a faggot at this school is the problem." I look at my feet. "I called your father. He'll be here soon."

An hour later my father shows up. He signs the papers and grabs my arms, it hurts but I don't say anything. He's going to do it again. He throws me in the car and slams the door.

The ride is silent until we get home. He grabs me by the arm again. Throwing me around everywhere. He opens the door and pushes me in. He slams the door and grabs my shirt.
"DID I RAISE A HOMO?!" He screams. I close my eyes. "LOOK AT ME! I DID NOT RAISE A FAG!" I open my eyes, and see a glimpse of mom drinking Vodka watching the whole thing. He punches my already black eye and puts his hands around my neck. I start blacking out again. He lets go right before I black out. "Go to your room." I start upstairs when all of a sudden something comes over me.
"No." He turns around.
"What did you just say?"
"I. FUCKING. SAID. NO. LISTEN." He grabs a candlestick and runs toward me. My insides start to burn and a big shout shoots through my mouth like a bullet in a gun. Flames shoot at the walls, at my father and my alcoholic mother. The fire seems to be levitating off of my palms. I shoot them all around me and right before I start to black out I see my fathers flesh burning off of his body, mother already burned. She was full of alcohol. Then everything goes black.

Two years later

It's been two years since the accident. I'm ten years old now. I still remember everything. All the news reports, all the interviews, seeing my fathers eyes melt. My aunt took me in after that. Nobody is mad at me because the news report says they couldn't find the source of the fire, like it came out of nowhere, and in a way it did. My aunt and my twin cousins have powers too, and apparently so did my father. Lately my powers have gotten weird. It goes from fire, to ice, to telekinesis, to anything and everything. Also my, uh, my nuts.. they've gotten.. bigger. I've decided to talk to my aunt about it.

She gets home three hours after school is out. I run up to her and hug her.
"Mommy, can I talk to you in private?" I whisper in her ear. She nods and leads me to her room. I sit at the edge of her bed.
"What is it, honeybear?" She smiles.
"My powers. They're changing, and my uh-" She laughs.
"It's called puberty, babe. Your personality is changing, and so are your powers."
"So.. It's normal?" She nods. I smile and give her a kiss. "Thank you, mommy."

Although she's not my mother, I still call her mom because she's the closest I can get to one. Everyone is okay with it, so I don't see a problem with it. I run to my bedroom and get out my backpack. I grab my crayons and a paper.

Four years later

This is where my story begins.
