Picking up the phone I remembered that I have to pay a visit to Lauretta today .

"What is the problem Mr Richard ?".

"S-sir, we..the ..I mean as the head of the HR department I am pleading on his behalf .please forgive him ".

"Who are you talking about Richard?".

"Sir I didn't mean to bother you but please Khlan need this job"

"Is stealing from me his way of solving his problems?".

"No sir I know what he did was wrong but please don't let anger cloud your judgement ".

"Are you trying to say that I am wrong in relieving him from his duties?".

"No.. no.. no.. sir I didn't mean to offend you .I am just trying to say  that he has a family that needed the money a-and I know khlan he actually need the money ".

This man is adding to my problems that his- so -called friend caused and not to talk of wasting my time .

"Richard it on you if khlan should repeat his mistakes again . give him back his job ".

"Thank you sir ,thank you so much ".

"Now can I have my peace back ? "

Going back to the many files on my desk seem impossible right now as the time is far spent already and I have to visit Lauretta .

"Claria "

"Yes sir... you have a visitor wait for you sir "

"And who might that be claria?"

"Sir please forgive him"

"Who is the visitor claria ?"

"Khlan from accounting department"

"Send him in "

Seeing the person that has been disturbing my peace of mind I could tell that nothing is all right with him .

"What can I do for you khlan? "

I am sorry sir ,I should not have collected your money but I actually needed it for my wife's surgery .she is in the hospital right now and the doctors are demanding for the money"

"Don't I pay you well khlan?"

"Of course you do sir but I have so many outstanding hospital bills to pay".

"Khlan if you need help financially  I have enough to give out and it will not put a dent on my account but stealing from me is not the way to solve your problems "

"I am sorry sir it won't happen again. Please I need this job to at least to pay for my Wife's surgery ".

"I will pay for the surgery and clear your outstanding bills but khlan don't steal from me again ".

"Thank you sir "

"It all right, go back to your work "

"I am sorry sir I should not have collected your money ".

"You were desperate but don't do it again "

"Come let go visit you wife "

The smell of hospital still lingers on my suit as i drove all the way to Lauretta house and when I got to the gate I had to input my name before the gate will open .

Since after the news of Lauretta been his daughter came out he became so careful, with tight security. something about avoiding kidnapper.

pulling into the parking lot I stared at the gifts I bought for Lauretta maybe I will just bring her out then surprise her with the gifts ..

"Welcome sir "

"Victor. how are you ?"

"Fine thank you sir "

Walking to the entrance of the house I noticed a strange car not just the car but Lauretta entering the car maybe the person is a friend .

"Lauretta "

"Ekim!! I missed you how are you ".

What won't I give to continue to hug this girl every day .

"I missed you too princess and I am fine. who is your visitor ? ".

"Ekim meet West a son to dad friend ,
West this is Ekim My Friend."

"It good meeting a friend of Lauretta but unfortunately you can't see her today. I am taking her outing . she promised me a date ,right Lauretta?".

" yeah. Ekim do ..... "

"It all right Lauretta I will come see you some other time ".

Well I was the one who told her that I have so many things to do at the office today but why am I feeling like I just gave Lauretta out on a platter gold.

A harsher step on the gas and I would have lost control of the car and perhaps lost control and crash somewhere .

"Control your fucking car man !!!!!"one of the many drivers on the road hollered but still my mind is on what is happening between Laurette and 'West' . perhaps she would be enjoying herself and laughing to his silly jokes .

my heart pounded against chest at the simple thought of her actually enjoying his company .

Well it going to be a long night for me now seeing as the source of my imagination will be altered tonight, so I might just get some paper work done before I sleep that is if I sleep at all .

The sound of my phone ringing woke me up from my restless sleep .without checking the caller I just answered it.

"Hello, Good morning ,this is Ekim Roland "

"Well Good morning Ekim Roland, if you could just find time to take me out today then I might just decide to buy some percentage of shares in your company "

"Lauretta "

"The one and only ........ I will make a good secretary for you Ekim .what do you think? "

"You are one pretty secretary I won't mind having "

"So how about you take me out today and don't tell me you are busy "

"Get ready I'm on my way "

"And I will be waiting "

I won't mind having her as my secretary at all ...
