Right here in Colombia and I am so happy . Nobody told me that flying in the air inside one very solid shaped box made of metal was very scary . I almost cried when the pilot said something about engine failure .

God forbid I die at this moment when I am finally enjoying life.

It took me time to settle in, I called dad to inform him, I also called Ekim and we spent time talking about everything. The cold weather was not encouraging at first but I later got used to it. I came down with different types of South African wears.

Maybe too much cloths

I got lots of people admiring my wears over here.

Well today is my first day of school and should I say my very first seconds in school . This school is so big !!......I mean who designed this building?.

"Please excuse me "

"Yes "

"Can you please direct me to the administrative office I'm new here my name is Lauretta"

"Well hello and welcome to Colombia"

"Thank you .... "

"Miranda ; my name is Miranda "

"Thank you Miranda ... So the administrative office please "

"Follow me "

I think I just made a new friend . I will have to tell dad about it

"Here is your schedule and I think you have a class now ".

"Thank you Ma'am ".

"Well are you done ?".

I wasn't expecting Miranda to wait for me but she did maybe. just maybe I will enjoy myself here in Bogota Colombia.

"Yes I am. But I have a class now ".

"No...... we have a class now ".

This girl is so enthusiastic . All thought out my first week of school I never missed a class, things were going smoothly for me, anything I find difficult I consult the Internet or the library.

I was able to get a smart phone and send down to Emily, though Ekim who took it to her school. He called me from there and gave Emily the phone and she was just screaming with joy.

Dad said I shouldn't bury myself in books, he wanted me to have some real fun, and I will have lots of fun but not now, there's time for everything and I needed to concentrate on my studies.

I made few close friends, Miranda, a young Lady from Cameroon and Josiah, he was my first male White friend from London, who started admiring me right from the first day I started class. He was very cute and brilliant too.

I was having more people coming around, some even wanted my styles, they asked me how much it will cost and I just told them I'm too busy right now to make or design a wear for them.

It was just a lie, I can't even design anything yet. I don't know how it's being done but I just do not want to pull them off, or discourage them because I was already thinking on how to create time to attend a fashion school. But I must first have an idea, I have to know the basics of fashion.

I decided to get an electric sewing machine and all sewing materials, I bought a manual on how to design, I also searched the internet and downloaded lots of video, which was like a guideline for me.

So I started practicing on my free time, slow but steady on how to cut and design. It looks like I wasn't getting anywhere at first, it looks like a child's play but I kept on doing it until it was gradually turning out fine. I asked Miranda where I can get fabrics, she told me where to go, so I search with my goggle map on how to locate the place.
