CHAPTER 3: Byul's Room

JK stood and offered his hand, Byul shyly accepting it with a small smile on her lips. She didn't miss the gentleness brought by the calloused hand before letting go. Before they finally leave the place, JK glanced at the table beside theirs and nodded at a group of tipsy men, who looks like his friends, cheering for him and waving their hands sloppily. The man only waved off their teasing with his hand and bid farewell to his friends before motioning for the lady to take the lead.

They started walking side by side down the hallway, taking a few turns until they reached the end where a closed door is waiting for them. The dancer couldn't help but to blush on their entire journey as JK placed his large hand on the small of her bare back, slowly drawing small circles that sparked another heat on his belly. The young businessman is tall, probably a foot taller than her, and seemed to be hiding a ripped body decorated with muscles under the fabric of his black three-piece suit. She had never felt so small when she's with a client no matter how built or tall they are but she can't help feeling that way. There is something with his aura that gives off an authoritative vibe that suddenly makes her to be pliant – the way where she feels small but in a good way where she felt safe and protected by the man holding her – as crazy as it may sound.

Upon reaching the end, a pastel-colored door that seemed unfit with the nightclub's theme welcomed them. Even its placard with "Byul's Room" in calligraphy is plastered on it with vintage intricate linings around the letters. The door gives off a Princess vibe, which Jungkook thought that suits the pole dancer well.

Byul nodded at the two sturdy men standing on either side of the door, both giving her curt nods in return. The smaller of the two approached JK and proceeded with inspecting his body, making sure every client she brings inside is not harmless. His personal things such as his wallet, that could secretly contain illegal drugs, and phone, because filming inside the private rooms are not allowed, were confiscated as per protocols.

JK quietly obliged with the procedures, shocking Byul once again as she's used to her past clients throwing fists and curses towards the two security men. She turned to face him and gave him a smile, though it's barely noticeable under the dim lights of the hallway.

"You go inside first and read the rules on the table. I'll be there in a bit."

This had always been the hardest part in her job – instructing her clients to go inside the room first, read and understand her rules as she confirm the security of the room with the two men guarding outside before she can finally enter. However, because her past clients have been very aggressive and eager for her, she always had a hard time making sure they all follow her orders. Some even had to be threatened by the two men or yet by Byul, telling them that she'll back out (which works all the damn time), but it kinda gets tiring to deal with such assholes.

Surprisingly, though, JK proved that he's really different from the others as he only hummed in response but almost reluctant to remove his hand on her back, before entering the room without any fuss. Byul bit her lower lip, holding back from whining in distress at the action, surprisingly disappointed at the loss of warmth on her exposed back.

The taller between the two men cocked his eyebrow in surprise as he gave a questioning look to Byul, the latter only shrugging her shoulders in return.

"How much?" was the usual question given by the tall man, his voice deeper than usual.

"Twenty million."

The usual reaction would be an open-mouthed one with matching large eyes but the man in front of her scoffed and ran his tongue against the walls of the inside of his cheek, clearly annoyed and upset at the information. His jaw, then, clenched.
