Moon's P.O.V.

I left Qibli to go downstairs. I mean, Thorn had to have something to hold over Qibli's head right?  Thorn and I made small talk, while waiting for him to come downstairs.  I heard something. Sounded like a gasp of, shock or fear.
"Qibli, honey, why did you gasp??" Thorn called. 
"Nothing! It's not important!" He called back. I rolled my eyes. If it was nothing, why did he gasp? I reassured Thorn that everything was fine, and left to go back up the stairs to the bathroom, where Qibli was. I was going to attempt to scare him, so I tried to be as stealthy as possible. I heard him tapping away on his phone, and I started to read. 

RA1NBOWS4EVAH: GUYS BAD NEWS ALERT!!

SandyBoi: Kinkajou what is it??

Waterboy: I'm intruiged.

Winter: She's lying, I can tell already.

RA1NBOWS4EVAH: I heard my mom yell to Glory that 'Those Night kids are bad trouble!' Moon's last name was Night. So is Fatespeaker and Deathbringers. Although, I'm pretty sure mom doesn't know 'the new kid' is a Night. She only knows about Deathbringer and Fatey bc 1. Glory's dating Deathbringer and 2. Fatespeaker is Deathy's twin. What do we do?? Moon didn't seem all that bad did she??

SandyBoi: You have got to be kidding.

Waterboy: What?

Winter: Now I am intruiged. What is it?

SandyBoi: Moon is reading this over my shoulder...O///O

That's all I read before he turned it off and sheepishly looked at me.

"Something you want to tell me? Maybe why you and the others I considered my friends talking about me secretly?" I whispered. He looked down, clearly ashamed. "How could you? And for starters, I don't have siblings. I'm pretty sure my mother would have told me if I did." He started going to the school website, and brought up a picture of two people, clearly twins. 

"Do you- Do you recognise these people??" He asked slowly

I shook my head. "I mean, I've seen them going in to school, but other then that, no."

"This is Fatespeaker and Deathbringer Night. Deathbringer is dating Glory Sunn, Kinkajou Sunn's older sister. That's how Kink heard that-" He put on a shrilll voice "Those Night kids are bad trouble!" He stopped. 

"But, that isn't me. As far as I'm concerned, She doesn't know who I am." 

"But she does know a lady named Secretkeeper. And she has a grudge against her." 

"That's my mom Qibli." I paused. "What if...no, she wouldn't, would she?" 

"I have no idea what you're talking about. Please tell?"

"What if Kinkajou and Glory's mom was alerted that 'Secretkeeper' was here. And what if, since she was so-called alerted, she would go in." I explained 

"Go in for what?"

The kill; Nah, too much.

"An attack maybe. I don't really know, and we don't have a lot to work with. I might go home."

"We were about to go..." He trailed off.

"I'm sorry. It's getting a bit late anyways, and I told mom I'd be home before dinner." 

"Well in that case, I'll see you at school. Winter's gonna hate you though."

"What? Why?" I asked.

"Because you chose me over him." He quickly replied. "Anyway. Do you need a ride? Or someone to walk home with?" 
"No, I don't. My house is just 5 minutes away." I said, starting to gather my things, and pack up the rest of the bathroom.

"But it's dark?"

"And?"

"I'm asking if I can walk you to your door."

"Oh..." Me being the awkward human that I am, fell silent.

"I mean, it's fine if you don't...don't want me there, but...you do, I mean you should have someone walking home with you, and I cou-"

"I'd love to Qibli. Thank you for offering." I had FINALLY regained the ability to talk. He blushed and started walking out the door. When we were safely out on the sidewalk, I cautiosly grabbed his hand. He looked at me, alarmed, but didn't take his hand back. I smiled. This would be fun.

A/N No. 1 of the 2 chapters coming out today! Tbh I think this is really cringey. but just go with it...
