Crazy about you [Nuna]

New friends

The next morning Luna woke up by the Neville's help. He knocked on her door several times to get her up. Eventually he'd walked inside and woke her up. He saw dry tears on her cheeks and got worried.

" Luna have you been crying?" He wondered.

" What? No... No of course not. Neville I need to get dressed"

" Oh sorry. I'll wait for you..."

" No!" She half screamed but she didn't mean to. " I'm fine Neville. You go, I'll come later" Neville didn't want to leave her when he'd seen the dried tears but he obeyed her.

After a quick shower Luna got dressed and hurried down the stairs to the great hall. She was just about to take one of the last steps in the staircase when she slipped and fell down on the ground.

She dropped her wand and her glasses. Then she heard footsteps getting closer to her. She tried to get up as fast as possible but her knee hurted.

" Oh my, Lovegood are you okay?" She recognized the voice, it was a female. Ginny? No, she don't call her Lovegood. Hermione don't either.

" My wand...." She thought out loud and prayed the girl wouldn't take it from her.

" Here" the girl said and gave her the wand. Luna looked up and was surprised when she saw who it was. But it was two persons. Draco and Pansy.

" Parkinson....? Malfoy?" She said and tried to get up. Suddenly Draco came over and helped her up.

" You okay? Your knee dosen't look so good. Should we take you to Madame Pompfrey?"

" Why are you being nice to me?" She heard herself say, actually that was just meant to be a thought. Not a question to them.

" I mean I appreciate your help but...."

" We thought we want to start over. With you and your friends" Pansy explained. Luna just stared at them like they've just slapped her across the face.

" You do?" Draco nodded with a kind smile and picked up her glasses too.
" Yeah. And Blaise do so too, but he's already in the great hall"

First now she remembered Neville was too, he must be waiting for her.

" Thank you Draco and Pansy. But I need to get to the great hall. Neville is waiting...."

" Sure, we'll go there with you" Pansy said with a smile.

Luna sat down with her friends at the Gryffindor table and all of them just stared at the three Slytherins. Blaise was also there now.

" What do you guys want?" Harry said and looked at Malfoy. " I...." But Draco cut himself off but continued quickly. " I mean.... We.... Want to start all over with you guys. And we apologize"

Harry stared at Draco like he just killed someone. Harry seeked for his friends eyes, just to see what they thought about it. Ginny shot daggers at Pansy, while Ron just wanted to give Draco a big punch in the face.

" I think it's a good idea" Luna said out loud. " Really? Have you gone mad?" Ron said and got red in his face.

" They helped me before I got in here" Luna quickly explained what happened at the staircase before she walked in. Ron and Ginny's face softened when Luna was done.

" I'm fine if you are, buddy" Ron said and looked at Harry. Draco stretched out his hand to Harry. He seemed to be nervous.

" Friends?" He said. Harry looked over at Hermione who gave him a quick nod.

" Friends" Harry said and took his hand.
