Crazy about you [Nuna]

Luna's Patronus

Neville walked out from Herbology with Ron. They had walked down to the lake to get some plants for Professor Sprout. Unfortunately Ron had slipped into the water so all the other plants had dissapeared. But Neville had two already.
They gave them to Sprout and served 10 point to Gryffindor.

" Bloody hell, I can't look like this the rest of the day" Ron exclaimed when he saw the footprints he left after himself. " Then go and take a quick shower then. We'll have lunch in 30 minutes"

" You're right. I'll hurry up" He ran away as fast as he could and left big footprints after him.

Neville thought he should change his clothes fast, he had been in the water too you know. He half ran up to the seventh floor and met Fred, or saw, or whatever you want to call it.

" Whoa Nev, what have you done?" Fred said with a grinn. " Ron and I was out in the lake and..... Uh never mind."

" Okay, just so you know Luna's in there too" Neville smiled a bit when he heard that. " Okay, thanks. GryffinClaw" Fred's portrait swung open and Neville walked inside.

When he opened the door, he found Luna just infront of the fire. She flicked with her wand and said the spell he immediately recognized.

" Expecto Patronum!"

But nothing happened. ' that's weird' Neville thought. ' I've seen her do it before' Luna who didn't notice Neville's presence before saw him now.

" Neville? Oh....hi. What's up?" Neville didn't answer her first, he was too busy staring at her. He studied her face for a time and locked eyes with her before answering.

" Uhm.....well, I'm just about to change clothes. I mean pants, there was an accident. No I don't mean like that.... Me and Ron was....ah fuck"

Luna only giggled, thinking it was cute when Neville sounded nervous. " Let me guess, Ron fell down into the water down by the lake? " Neville nodded and turned red in his face.

He hurried inside his dorm and changed his pants and walked out to Luna again.

" So....how is it going? With your patronus, I mean" Luna's smile slowly faded away and she looked down at the ground. " I.... I can't do it" she mumbled.

" What? You've made it without problem before. Even in the war" He walked over and stood in front of her. His eyes fixed on hers.

" But.... Lately I've had theese nightmares. They hunt me even on the bright day" Neville laid his hands on her shoulders and said with a soft tone

" Screw your nightmares, Luna. You can do it. I've seen you do it before. Just think of something that makes you happy"

Luna nodded and gave him a weak smile. Neville stepped aside and watched her. She could do it. He just knew that.

She closed her eyes and thought a of a very powerful memory. A second later she flicked her wand in the air and said out aloud

" Expecto Patronum!" From her wand, Neville saw a silver haare who jumped around in the room.

" Oh my god I did it!" Luna said happily.

" I knew you...." But Neville was cut off by a tight embrace from Luna. Neville was so shocked he almost forgot to hug her back. But he lifted her carefully from the ground.

" Thank you Neville!" She squealed.

" No problem sweethea.... I mean Luna"
