Okay so let's talk I chose this book since it's my most popular one and more people will (hopefully) spread awareness of the subject.
This is going to be my face reveal, but before that starts, I want to talk about some more serious matters.
Depression. When you hear that word the first thing to pop into your head is "sad" right?
Well yes but also no. Depression is a matter of being unconditionally uncomfortable, dysmorphic, sad, angry, etc with no reason.
I've fought depression most of my life and yeah, it's sucks.
And no Kaitlyn, just because you're sad for one day doesn't make you depressed.
Oh and being depressed and having depression are two different things people.
I'm not the type of person to make a whole fucking chapter being all heartfelt and serious because to be fair, I just can't do that. So let's make this short and simple.
I have had dysthymic depression for most of my life and it's made me feel like shit. It's caused my anxiety levels to go over the roof, it's caused me to be dysmorphic about my body, it's caused me to have mood swings, and caused a lot of shit in my life that which resulted in people fucking hating me so that's fun.
And I'm fûcking sick of middle school girls thinking it's trendy to say they have depression beCAUSE NO AMELIA, CUTTING YOUR OWN BANGS IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT ISNT A MENTAL BREAKDOWN AND NO ISABELLE JUST BECAUSE CORBIN BROKE UP WITH YOU DOESNT MEAN YOU HAVE DEPRESSION.
and oh my fucking god, if a Rebecca comes to me and says she "HaS DePreSsiOn" without actually getting it diagnosed and calling it "A SelF DiaGnoSis" I'm actually going to off myself.
Depression isn't trendy, it isn't cool, and Jesus Christ so help me it is not personality trait. So Leighann, take "DepResSioN SucKs 😖🤚" out of your fucking Instagram bio before I fuck you up.
But recently, I've been getting better and honestly I'm proud of myself :)
I've been clean for about 10 months, so almost a year and omg I'm so excited for the 1 year anniversary.
I honestly don't know how to end this rant so uhm here's me UwU
