Part 16

Tula and the girls quickly got me ready in my other outfit (see above, make up is the same in the photo and she is wearing blue flats) before the boys walked me to the ballroom. Many many people introduced them self's to me before Orin said I could go and "mingle" as he put it. First thing I did was go and get a drink before finding Tula. We were talking and just hanging out until and saw Orin motion for me to talk to other people. Across the room I saw Perdita. I told Tula I was going to talk to her then left. On my way over to her one of the princes from a different kingdom asked me to dance. I agreed.

"So how's the party so far?" He asked me.

"Not bad. How are you enjoying it?" I asked.

"Better now that I'm with you," he said slipping his hand lower than I would like.

"Please don't do that," I said pulling his hand up.

"Oh darling you know you want it," he said putting his hand in my butt.

"The lady said stop," a voice said from behind us.

I turned around and found Gar and a couple of his teammates. I let go of the man but he grabbed my arm. Dick then walked over with Conner and they got him off me.

"Don't you know it's not nice to touch a lady like that," Dick said as Conner and him pulled the prince to the exit.

"Thanks," I told Gar. He smiled and offered his hand. I gladly took it and started dancing with him.

"Have not done this in a while," he said to me.

"Oh does Perdita not make you dance," I asked laughing.

"Oh she does. I meant with you," He said smiling. We both laughed.

"So you are both queens now huh," he said.

"Indeed. Now you will have someone else there when we force you to go with us to formal events," I told him.

"Yeah finally there will be another guy. But why has he not gone with us before?" Gar asked.

"Because technicality he had no royal status since I was not a queen," I said with a shrug. The song ended and we went over to Pradita.

"Your boyfriend is a saint," I told her giving her a hug.

"Indeed he is. I saw him stop that man," she said. We caught up a little bit before Kal came over.

"Oh speaking of which, Kal you should come with us to the Royal meeting next month," I told him.

"But I have no royal status," he said.

"You do know that she is a queen," Pardita said. "That's why I make Garfield go with me."

"Well if that is what you wish," Kal said smiling at me.

Things seemed to be going good until we heard an explosion.
