Chapter 18

After the sports festival and our break Izuku and I took the train to UA like it's a normal day of school. I was on the phone texting Shoto until suddenly someone starts calling Izuku and I.

Random dude: Hey. You two. Hey. [Y/N] Kashima and Izuku Midoriya.

Izuku and I turn around to see the random dude as he smiles at us.

Random dude: You did great in the sports festival!

I smiled and give him a nod as everyone starts praising us. I saw a screen showing a picture of me being excited with a gold medal.

Everyone: Do your best, heroes!

[Y/N]: Yes!

Izuku: Y-yes..

We were already on our way to UA as Izuku and I use an unbrella. Normally, I would use my quirk and make my hand into an umbrella but I don't have a license yet.

Iida: Good morning, Midoriya and [Y/N]!

I turn around and see Iida running in a rain coat and rain boots.

Izuku: Good- Huh!? Rain coat and rain boots!?

Iida: Why did you two stop!? We're already late!

[Y/N] and Izuku: Late?

[Y/N]: Iida! It's still 5 minutes before the bell.

Iida: UA students are expected to come before ten minutes!

We ran as fast as we could as Izuku and I dry off our umbrellas.

Izuku: Iida-

Iida: If it's about my brother then it's okay. I'm sorry for making you worry.

And with that, Iida goes off to class as Izuku and I put our umbrellas in the rack. We got to class as I shrunk myself and laid on the table.

Momo: You seem pretty tired.

[Y/N]: Everyone wouldn't stop talking to me the whole way here. I feel too famous....

Momo lets out a giggle as I went back to my normal size and sat down. I then look at Shoto and give him a smile.

[Y/N]: Not nervous to see her anymore?

Shoto: Definitely. After seeing her, being nervous didn't really matter.

[Y/N]: That's good to know.

Kaminari: Don't forget about [Y/N]!

I turn my head in confusion as Kaminari was pointing at me. I was confused as he makes my way towards me.

Kaminari: The way you won the sports festival was awesome! I didn't really think you'd get upset but you were awesome-

[Y/N]: Please... shut up. I can't take anymore praise after what happened early morning.

The door then opened as Mr. Aizawa comes in as I was surprised to see him without his bandages.

Tsu: Ribbit. Mr. Aizawa's bandages came off. I'm glad.

Aizawa: That old lady's treatment is overdramatic. Anyway, today's Hero informatics Peripd is a little special.

As Mr. Aizawa says this everyone starts getting nervous as I think about it a little. It's gonna be our code names.

Aizawa: Code names.

[Y/N]: *sigh* called it.

Aizawa: You'll think of your hero names.

Everyone gets excited as Mr. Aizawa glares at us. I then chuckled as I sat up straight.

Aizawa: It's because this is related to the hero draft picks I talked about the other day. The draft starts its proceedings in two to three years, after you've gained experience, and are regarded as work-ready by the pros. In other words, the calls that the first-year students received shows the interest they have in your future. It's possible for the offers to be rescinded if their interest in you dies down before graduation.
