As we changed into our hero costumes, we got to the Hero Provisional License Exam Location which was pretty crowded.
[Y/N]: There are so many people.
Uraraka: You can say that again.
[Y/N]: There are so many people.
Mera: So.. Now we'll do the "provisional license" thing. I'm... Mera, from the Hero Public Safety Commission. My favourite kind of sleep is non-REM sleep... Nice to meet you. I've had so much work to do that I hardly slept... We need more personnel... I'm so sleepy... On the basis of this, I'll give you the orientation.
[Y/N]: He's not hiding his exhaustion at all, huh? Is he alright?
Mera: About the content of the provisional license thingy... Well, all 1,540 candidates here, will have to compete in a free-for-all elimination tournament.
Sero: Are you serious? That's not much to go on.
Mera: Our society is currently said to be saturated with heroes, and ever since Stain's arrest, many have shown doubts about the current state of heroes.
[Y/N]: Heroes should not seek compensation. It must be a title earned after a path of self-sacrifice. The Hero Killer's convictions...
I clenched my fist as I had the thought of Stain saving me at Hosu. Izuku holds me by the shoulder since he saw me getting angry.
Mera: Well, as a simple citizen, I think that whatever is their motive, to tell someone risking their lives for others to not seek any reward is... quite an inhuman story in these modern times, but... But anyway, whether it's for compensation, or for glory, many heroes worked hard together to help people and defeat villains. But as a result of that, the time from when an incident happens to when it's resolved is now incredibly short. Acquiring your provisional licenses, will enable you to finally throw yourselves into those rapid currents. For those that won't be able to keep up with that speed... It's gonna be hard. Therefore, what you'll be tested on is speed!
A giant screen then shows us the number 100 hundred along with how many people only needs to pass. Which was 100.
Mera: The first 100 of you that fulfill the requirements will pass.
Momo: There are a total of 1,540 people here... We were told that the passing grade was 50%...
Tsu: So the passing grade is now less then 10%.
Jiro: I'm getting more nervous!
[Y/N]: Hey! Hey! Hey! Don't you all go nervous on this! We're here for the provisional license. Don't let that nervousness get to you.
I turned my head towards my class due to me being infront. I then smiled and put up a thumbs up.
[Y/N]: I believe in you, Class 1-A!
Mera: Well, a lot has happened, you know... Think about that and do your thing... So, the requirements are... these.
He pulls out a ball snd a small target as I knew where this was going.
Mera: The targets will put three if these targets on their body. They can go anywhers as long as it's a constantly exposed area. Places like beneath your feet or on your armpits, are no good. You also carry wix of these balls. The targets are made so they only light up when hit by these balls. If all three of your targets lit up, you're out. The one who lights up your third target is the one that officially defeated you. You get through this round by defeating two people. That's it for the rules.
I smiled as I sighed a relief. I looked at Izuku who was thinking as I let him do his thing.
[Y/N]: Welp, good thing I practiced my accuracy. This is gonna be easy.
