Chapter 18

Kierra POV

After Kehlani told us about her dad wanting to meet Trey she also invited us. Her parents always have this get together thing on Friday with family and friends and they order pizza and wings. So you know I was gonna be there because I love food! After the talk Kehlani told us that she was going to lunch with Trey which made me think about qua and how I was acting towards him. So I decided to text him and ask him did he wanna meet up tomorrow since Kehlani announced the shop was going to be closed tomorrow because she was moving into her own apartment. So i decided to not be so mean and stuck up and text him.

Text message to qua
"Hey qua its kierra, I'm sorry I was ignoring you. I just needed time to process things. Want to meet up tomorrow to talk about everything?"
                                                               sent at 1:15pm
After I sent the message I prayed that he didn't find anybody else cause I really like qua I was just in shock when I found out about his daughter and him working in a trap.  After about 30mins later kehlani came back from lunch with Trey

"Hey how was lunch girlie " I asked
"It was good, I have a lot of things to fill you in on though" Kehlani said
"I'm listening" I said
"And me " jada said joining in
"Where the hell- anyways so how about Trey works at a trap and there's beef between the south and north side. we live on the south side and jordan leaves on the north side, but I never heard jordan say anything about him working in a gang" I said
"Qua works at a trap too" I said
"So that gotta mean that jay does too" Jada said
"They do, I know this because Trey is in charge of the whole thing and I'm guess qua and jay help him run everything just like y'all help me run the solon " Kehlani said
"So wait, what is the beef with the north and south side, are not allowed to go over there" I asked
"I honestly don't know, I didn't have time to ask all that because of the whole short lunch break, but we can all ask about it Friday " kehlani said
"Yeah cause I wanna know what's going on" jada said
"Me too " I said

After talking with Kehlani and jada about the whole situation with the boys another one of my customers came in letting me know that I had to get back to work.

Jada POV

After talking with the girls about the boys, I decided to text jay since I haven't talked to him since last night and he swears I don't text or call him. So why not now since I'm not busy.

*Text message to jay *
"Hey"

He probably was busy so I didn't double text or anything because I didn't wanna seem like an annoying friend. I really like jay a lot but I really don't be having time to hang out with him because I'm always here working at the shop with kehlani and kierra so there's never time. Hopefully when he text back I can ask him tomorrow to hang out since kehlani is gonna be with Trey and kierra might be with qua. I honestly don't know if she would be with him or not because she did ghost him for about two days. Hopefully they get back right cause I really do want them together. I only wish the best for my girls. After my thinking, a new customer came in.

"Hey, how are you? And what can I do for you today, and what's your name?" I asked
"I'm good, how are you? And I would like some bundles please. And the name is leah" Leah said
"Okay a certain color u want " I said leading her to the sink to wash her hair
"Nah just the regular black " Leah said
"Okay let's get started " I said

Jay POV
I was in the smoke room two rooms down from treys office when qua came talking about Trey wanted everybody in the office. So i followed qua to Trey office. Everybody was already in there so I guess I was the last one.

"Alright so now that everybody in here I wanna make an important announcement." Trey said

Everybody was quiet and listening

"So y'all remember rico ass and his people that rob us a long time ago? Well his ass back at the shit again, everybody in here know that he rob us today and took some of our products, he sent a letter to us , it said "I want my money Trey and if I don't get it I'm after Kehlani and qua I want my money to and if I don't get it I'm after royalty and last, I want all my money if I don't get that my next target is to kill jay " he read

When he read my name, my heart dropped why would rico wanna kill me? I didn't do anything to anybody.

"So what I need every person in this place to do is to keep a lookout for any sneaky shit that's going on. About my niece and my Kehlani ion play nothing about. I'll kill any mf who crosses me" Trey said

Everybody nodding there heads and agreed to what he was saying.

"Now everybody get the fuck back to work" Trey said

Everybody did what was told. I still didn't understand why Rico wanted me, I didn't do anything. I guess he wanted me because there was nobody else he could get to, I'm the youngest one out of Trey and qua and I'm like they little brother so what we they try to do to me, I know my brothers were gonna step always.

"Trey you ain't tell me rico wanted to kill me too" I said
"I ain't wanna worry you bro, ain't nun gone happen to you, so you ain't got shit to worry about. " Trey said
"Right bro you know it's war behind you always. " qua said dapping me up

I hope they right. Cause I got a bad feeling about all of this.
