My hat was matching the flow of cold breeze in the sunny weather. It's always been our favorite weather, me and his.
It's funny how I thought the word us for us existed no longer. But here I am, doing a long journey with him after his confession last night.
I was determined to not get trapped by emotions ever again but when he mentioned the last part, I was decived by my own self.
I remember, 3 years back, I was on his shoes. A situation where he is now. I know how he feels or what it feels like to be missing someone who apparently is right in front of you.
And if I do what he did back then, I'll be only repeating a phrase of mistakes. Which I don't want to.
So, that's why I chose to give a chance to us. And see, how far this time this takes us.
Y/n : isn't it the.....
Jungkook : yes. It is.
I couldn't keep the smile forming on my face when I stepped out of the car.
The fountain that used to be crystal white once is now covered in dark shades. It sure has been changed a lot in its colour but the attracting features and quality is still as beautiful as before.
I still remember the first time I came here. And of course it was with him.
Jungkook : you remember the first time during school when we bunked school only to come here?
Y/n : yes, it was newly built back then. And we wanted to be the first to throw coins in here.
I was admiring the water fall when he reached out his palm in front of me with 2 coins in it.
Jungkook : let's relive it then.
I looked at him in the eyes before my gaze landed on the two silver objects that layed in his palm.
I took one from him and smiled when we turned our heads to the fountain.
Closing my eyes with ease I made a wish that I wanted to come true.
Jungkook Pov
Opening my eyes I turn my head to the left, caughting a glimpse of the petite form who had her eyes still closed.
Her features were soft and just by starring at her face like this felt so peaceful.
A small smile crept upon my lips when she finally opens her eyes before pecking the coin in a soft manner.
We both then turn around and threw the coins behind us to the fountain, above our heads.
We visited our memorable places where our past had taken place years back. The amusement park, our little secret hideouts, the bridge, coffee shop, mall, ice cream parlor and so on.
And during all this time, we were certainly back to our old self's. As if the negative things that were effecting us never even happened.
And to speak frankly, I was enchanted by my best friend whom I've been missing madly all these time.
I know I was a pure jerk and heartless to her from the past but deep down inside of me I knew I was craving for her badly and wanted her to return.
And when she finally did, I repeated my mistakes all over again.
But apart from all these things, I still feel guilt in me. A guilt of hiding something from her since the very beginning of our friendship.
Y/n : it's always mesmerizing from here.
I snapped back when her angelic voice reaches my ear.
She says smilingly while starring at the sunset from the beach where we stood right at the moment. Her eyes sparkling, lips apart, skin glowing and her long hair flowing in the wind.
Making her look incrediblly gorgeous.
And the exact moment, I felt my heart skipping a beat.

It was a long day. But full of joy.
After coming back from the little trip of exploring memories, they both were back to their lives. But one thing that changed was them finally beginning to come back to good terms.
Both thinking that it was all about their friendship which was getting better now. Unknown to the fact that the love had began to blossom already.
A week or so later.
Y/n was baking cup cakes for the breakfast when her father enters the kitchen.
Y/n : good morning dad.
Dad : good morning, darling. what are you baking?
Y/n : cup cakes. you like them, right.
Dad : of course, I do.
He says while looking around the living room and kitchen area for something.
Y/n : what are you looking for?
Dad : my newspaper...
Y/n : oh, I forgot to collect it from the door. wait a second, I'll-
Dad : no, do your thing. I'll fetch it.
Y/n : okay...
She says beaming before turning back
her attention to the oven.
Mr. Lee opens the door when Taehyung appears right there heading to him.
Taehyung : a very good morning to you, abuji.
Seeing Taehyung his faces brightens instantly.
Dad : ah, Taehyung. what a pleasant surprise, son.
They both hugged each other in a respectful way before parting back.
Taehyung : well, I actually brought a surprise for you'll.
Dad : oh, what surprise?
Mia : omg! unniee's going to be launched tonight as the new face of JJK magazines! That's so awesome!
Taehyung : yes, Mia. And you know what is your surprise? you're joining us to the party as well.
Mia : wait....For Real?! I'm-
Dad : but what's the need for her to go there? She has exam next weekend.
Taehyung : abuji, there's still 4 days before the exam. And besides, I promised her to bring her to the launching event of Y/ns first project. As her advance birthday gift.
Dad : but still. it's an important event and she still a kid-
Y/n : dad, it's okay. we'll both be there with her, don't worry.
Taehyung : Nae, abuji.
Dad : okay, I trust you Taehyung. just make sure she doesn't do something stupid there.
Taehyung : nae, you don't have to worry.
Dad : and you, don't start roaming around the place. Understand?
Mia nodded obediently before grinning like a kid who she is even at the age of 16.
