Serena looked down at her hand, her see-through, disappearing hands. She looked desperately at Yuzu, who was calling out "Yuya!"
It had happened so fast. One moment, there were no guards, and then the next, a whole squad. Yuzu's friend, Yuya, had been taken for one reason or another.
Professor had sent Yuri out. Serena didn't know for what, but what she did know was that she had less time now to free him.
I can't... Serena's vision went blurry, I'm so sorry, Yuri...
She could feel it coming. She knew she was going to die. She usually kept her feelings all bottled up, but right now was the perfect time to cry.
She cried for a good hot second, but then stopped.
No! She thought, I still have time!
Serena put her hands on either side of the glass tube. She pushed with all her might, but the glass was just too tough. She put her hand she down, and then began to think. How could you break strong glass?
Maybe...? Serena's thoughts all led back to the same conclusion; She needed a duel monster. But it wasn't like she could just yell, 'Yo Reiji! Can you shoot your monster's attack at this glass tube I'm in?'
No, she needed to get his attention without Professor noticing. But how..?
She turned towards Rin, she believed she heard her name was. She was the closest to Reiji as far as she was concerned, and that was all that mattered right then.
Now, all she had to do was get Rin's attention without getting seen.
Simple enough.
Yugo ran. He had to get to Rin before it was too late. His legs hurt like heck, but that didn't cross his mind in the slightest. All he was thinking about was Rin.
Also Yuzu, but mostly Rin.
He stopped. He saw someone. Someone with the same face as him, but it clearly wasn't Yuya or Yuto. This boy had magenta hair and wore a purple suit.
And his eyes. They seemed as if no light could get to them, like a barrier of darkness was protecting them. His posture was strange as well; Standing strait with his fingers curved in a way that a pianist's would be when playing.
The boy just blankly started at Yugo, as if his presence didn't matter to him. Yugo could feel the skin on his back crawling just looking at him. But, alas, he had to make sure that this boy was ok.
"Hey!" Yugo ran to the boy, "Are you ok?" The boy just looked at him. Yugo put his hands on his shoulders. The boy grabbed his hands, then shoved them off his shoulders. Yugo fell over.
The boy then proceeded to get out a duel disk and put it to Yugo's neck. It was an Academia duel disk.
"You're with Academia?!" Yugo cried, "Where's Rin!!?"
"I'll tell you if you beat me." The boy removed his duel disk from Yugo's neck, and back up. Yugo hesitated, then got his out as well.
"Let's duel!" They shouted.
Amejisuto walked the halls of Academia, thoughts of all kinds circling her in her mind. For one, Yuri was back, which was great, but her seemed off. There was no shine to his eyes, like as if light couldn't get to his eyes.
Serena was also somewhere at Academia. Amejisuto was very, very pissed at Serena for taking her Yuri away from her. He was practically her only friend for the longest time, but when that stupid Serena took him away...
Amejisuto simply sighed and stopped. She had get back at her. She just had to! It was the only way to prove that Yuri deserved her more than Serena.
But before I can get any revenge, Amejisuto thought, I have to find her first.
The last time she saw Serena was when she was dueling her sister, Safaia, but they ran off like cowards. Safaia, too, got away, but not with Amejisuto's prize. Out of her pocket, she pulled a card with her sister's wannabe friend, Matorikkusu, face on it. Amejisuto cracked a smile. It was always fun to turn someone into a card then look at their pathetic faces afterwords.
She put the card back into her pocket and then began walking again.
Maybe if I can capture my sister, I can lure Serena out! Amejisuto thought with much pride, not knowing that Serena was die-ing. (lol i forgot how to spell it)
Soon, Amejisuto stumbled upon a most peculiar duel. Yuri, who was facing away from her, and another boy who looked just like him, were dueling. On Yuri's side, was a normal monster of his and some bug looking thing. That was very strange, for Amejisuto knew for a fact that no matter what you were to do, Yuri would hate bugs. So why was he using one...?
Serena couldn't get any reaction out of Rin, she was clearly not paying attention to the machine at all. She couldn't help but want to punch the glass around her out of anger. But she didn't, because she didn't want to be discovered. A lot of lives relied on Rin looking over at Serena.
OH MY GOSH JUST LOOK OVER FOR AT LEAST ONE SECOND. Serena thought in anger, clenching her fists tightly. She opened her hands and looked at them. They were still disappearing as each and every second passed. She then looked at her bracelet, which was disappearing as well. But it was a little different. It seemed to have partials coming from it, almost like it was glowing.
Serena had only seen it done that one other time. She was about five years old, when she was just outside the school's dorms. She was wandering and hiding from her babysitters, when she noticed it was glowing. She was in between the dorms of the Ra Yellow, which she was not supposed to be in what so ever.
It was glowing a bright light, which was indigo. She tried to leave the alleyway, but it dimmed when she did. She was confused by that, so she turned the other way, and saw it glowed brighter. She followed it until it was the brightest it ever was. She had walked right to a duel, in between the Obelisk Blue dorms. A girl and two of her friends and a boy, Yuri, were dueling.
The girls looked normal, but Yuri did NOT. His eyes were glowing magenta and had a dark aura around him. He began attacking the girls non stop, seeming to hurt them. After the third attack, Serena couldn't stand it. She ran in front of them and then she woke up in the school garden, with Yuri huddled next to her, his hands tight around her waist. She tried to push him away, but flinched, for her body really hurt. She slowly got up, then fell down again, noticing that her bracelet wasn't glowing anymore.
What happened? She thought in wonder. She rested for a few minutes, then make a quick decision. She got up and picked up the boy, who she found was surprisingly light. She carried him to the nurses office, then sat by him for a little bit.
She felt like they had something connecting them. She looked at her bracelet, and the next thing she knew, her babysitters were there lecturing her about not running away.
But she didn't listen. She was thinking about Yuri.
Serena hadn't realized it, but she had caught Rin's attention.
Great! Serena thought in joy. Now all she had to do was get her message to Rin.
yayyyyyyyy.
