The first few chapters are gonna be quite short because they are not the main plot as you know from the description or the title. The main plot is gonna happen when they are in high school.
Lexi's pov
Tapping my feet on the ground nervously, I started playing with my fingers. It was my first day at elementary school, and without Jace how would I ever survive? I would probably get eaten by man-eating pizzas before even getting there. Jace was my best friend since kindergarden and has always been there for me for as long as I can remember. He was like the amazing and caring brother I never had.
Crazy thoughts continued to run through that tiny brain of mine until a loud sound blasted through the air, making me fall right off the bench. "Ouch" I whispered to myself before running up the bus getting cold stares from the bus driver. I walked all the way to the back, ignoring the stares that were given. Damn, this is gonna be hard without Jace. Running off the bus was the first thing on my agenda, no need to attract any more unwanted stares from doing something stupid rite? The moment I saw the bus door open, I sped out even faster than a bolt of lighting. I was right infront of the school gates, when I saw Jace. Wait a second, JACE? JACE CARTER? Shocked was obviously an understatement. I immediately ran up to him and hugged him like a little koala, snuggling my head into his shoulders.
"JACE CARTER WHY ARE U HERE?" I screamed like a baboon, considering the fact that I was so angry, I probably looked like a baboon's butt . (Baboons r like monkeys and they have super red butts) Turns out Jacey was just giving me a surprise I was elated to be have Jace in my school, he was my best friend and nothing could ever change that.
