Chapter 15: Making Deals with the Devil

"Ok Tobias, I'm gonna wipe your skin with Sea Salt Water, it might sting for a little bit, then your whole body will turn cold but it's needed for your recovery process", Lynn says.

"It's always nice to have a beautiful colored lady here taking care of me", Tobias replies.

"No, we're not doing the sweet talking this time this is strictly professional", Lynn says, "Now hold still".

She begins wiping his body, he groans for a minute then quickly relaxes himself. Jeff comes and knocks on the door.

"Hey Lynn can I speak with you for a minute", Jeff says.

"Yeah, just a sec", Lynn replies.

She hands Tobias a towel to dry off with and warm up. Then she walks out to speak with Jeff.

"Yeah what is it?", Lynn ask closing the door behind her.

"I don't like you helping him", Jeff replies, "We don't know if we can trust him".

"He's incapable of doing anything Jeff, he's sick, and he's on the truth serum", Lynn says.

"I know about the Truth Serum", Jeff says.

"Then what's the problem?", Lynn asks.

"I don't care for all of the flirting", Jeff replies.

"Jeff this is Tobias you're talking about", Lynn says.

"Yeah my enemy that would probably do anything to get under my skin including messing with you", Jeff replies.

"But you know the type of person I am and I would never do that", Lynn says.

Jeff sighs then gaze at Tobias.

"Now I have to get back to work okay", Lynn says kissing Jeff's cheek and going back in the room.

Jeff walks over to Gambi and TC working on the computer.

"TC can I have a minute with Gambi", Jeff says.

"Yes sir", TC replies getting up and walking away.

"Am I the only one worried about Tobias, I mean he knows our secret now, he's got Lynn in his grasp an he's here in the sanctum", Jeff says.

"Jeff he's on a truth serum if he starts acting funny we throw him out, but for now Lynn has to work with him and after he gets healed and well, we will wipe his memory from before he knew who you were", Gambi replies.

"I hope it's soon I don't know how longer I can stand here and watch this", Jeff says looking in the room at Lynn & Tobias.

"You won't have to I need surveillance of all points of entry at Gravediggers facility and since it's off the grid there are no cameras, I need you to fly over and set them up where I have them pinpointed on you gps map in your suit", Gambi says handing Jeff four cameras.

"Thank the gods", Jeff says clicking his watch and getting into his suit. He runs out the door then takes off.

Jenn walks down stairs into the sanctum.

"Hey Uncle Gambi, where's my mom and dad!", Jenn ask.

"Your moms in there helping out Tobias.....", Gambi replies.

"Which is still weird", Jenn says.

"And your dad went to put up surveillance cameras around Gravediggers Facility", Gambi says.

"Alone, Uncle Gambi we don't know what Gravedigger has waiting for us, I'm going in as Backup", Jenn replies getting into her suit and running out the door.
