Her eyes opened slowly while Tina regained consciousness. Sadly her expression was blank and unreadable.
It wasn't easy for anyone to have passed through such a hard past and after all this time, look up brightly.
No. Tina's past hunted her till these days.
More exactly one person in particular.
Jay.
She couldn't forgive herself about it.
He died because of her. She saw him fading away from her grasp. He willingly risked himself for her.
In conclusion, she was safe and sound, but Jay wasn't aware of it so he sacrificed his life for her that day.
It was a day she couldn't forget.
Things had to go that way after all she had gone thorough?
Couldn't she have the small satisfaction of happiness?
A little word like that with an enormous impact.
All she wanted was to lift all this pain away from herself and just have a normal life.
Was this such a big thing to ask for?
Eventually she had to face her problems but this time she had friends by her side.
All of them knew Tina's situation and had seen all the pain in her eyes or the small positive daily changes in her.
Of course Tina was slowly becoming better and better and it was all thanks to their kindness where they accepted her for who she was.
Even though now all of them were eating dinner silently on the table. The air around felt heavy and unwelcoming but one had to speak sooner or later.
Tina was seating at the corner silently minding her own business. She had to eat or a fight would start with the boys nagging her about her health condition. So Tina didn't want to risk anything and she didn't want to face anyone either.
Even though the food had no taste to her at all.
It just felt plain. All she did was swallow and swallow till the plate would eventually become empty, like herself.
That's how she would cope with her problems. Stay away from it and just let it be.
Time couldn't turn back as much as she wanted it to. As well as Jay. So all she usually did was to keep herself silent.
But who knew that the unexpected was ready to happen.
"I hate the silence."
That's all she had to say to make all the heads turn at her.
"I want to talk things out with all of you. One thing that I've learned in this household is that nothing works if we don't talk or open up with each other. Sincerity really matters and I've always felt better after I've done that."
I was highly true that Tina had felt that way. Her mind felt more at ease after she had opened up to them. Honestly Tina didn't want to live inside her own bubble anymore, after she had met them. She considered them as family and family doesn't keep secrets, they tell and support each other about everything.
"Tina we love you for who you are and now you are very important to us. We won't give up on you no matter what, not even after you progress from your condition." Said Jin representing all of the table as the elder with dedication in his words.
"Thank you. I don't remember telling you about my past accident which made me feel that way when I saw the smoke." She said taking a little break, to open her heart which had been suffering for such a long time.
"I had been living with a very close person two years ago before everything happened to my mental state. He was called Jay. The one I mentioned previously. We left our orphanage together where we had lived for years."
All the boys listened to her patiently, feeling every word she would say with pain in their hearts.
"E-everything happened when an unpredicted fire started at our apartment we were living in. I managed to get out by myself but Jay who was working that day came suddenly there and got inside thinking I was still there."
Only her voice was heard in the room. Without it, there would be a complete silence.
The boys kept quiet the whole time listening to her, until the moment she stopped talking.
"Tina, me and I bet, all the boys love you so much and we promise to be by your side all the time from now on so you won't be sad anymore." Said Jungkook. Surprisingly he didn't call her with the usual nickname, but rather polite.
"Well said." Added Hoseok.
"Um, we also bought you a smartphone as a gift for your first job. Now we can keep in contact." Taehyung said.
"Can you please bring it here Jimin." Jin asked Jimin politely.
Moments later Jimin came back with a fresh new phone inside its box.
"It's from all of us!" Said Jimin bringing it in front of her hands.
"You guys, this is very thoughtful of the all of you. I appreciate it. But this will be the last. At least after I buy you all a gift too." She said smiling once again.

The next day Tina woke up with new energy and positivity.
Later on she headed at her workplace and now she was patiently checking some products and their expiration date.
Suddenly a tall handsome boy walks towards her watching her focused expression.
"Jeon Tina? No way."
"Hmm, oh what? Sorry were you talking to me?" She asked surprised not expecting it.
"Yes you! Don't you remember me?" He asked her showing his cute puppy eyes.
"I'm sorry, but I don't." She responded a little frustrated.
"It's okay. Does the name Neo remind you of anyone?" He asked hopeful.
Tina took a good look at the boy in front of him thinking harder until.
She suddenly widened her eyes shocked.
"Oh my! Neo it's really you!"
