The small dust cloud that floated around the area slowly began to disappear. Todoroki, who had been captured, was still tied up in the bondage Yaoyorozu created. Yaoyorozu was still trapped under the debris that Uraraka had dropped. In order for either of them to win, the remaining members of their teams had to fight and win. Midoriya and Uraraka stared at each other as they didn't want to jump into action. Midoriya slowly grew nervous, he never imagined having to lay a hand on her. Uraraka was also feeling the same way. She never wanted to have to face off against him.
"W-Why did it come to this? I don't think I can bring myself to do this... I have to find a way that isn't physical damage to take her down... I hoped that Yaoyorozu would be the one that fought her... but here we are..." Midoriya thought as he looked around the battlefield.
"Why is it him? I swore that Todoroki would be the one to take him out... but I'd never hurt him... this IS a sprring match... but still." Uraraka thought as she looked at Midoriya.
After a few seconds, Uraraka finally spoke up.
"Hey Deku!" Uraraka called at him.
"Y-Yeah?" He asked still looking around the battlefield.
"I know we're in a fight... but, after I beat you, please tell me how you did that attack earlier." Uraraka said with a smile.
"Huh... you mean after I take you down? Sure thing!" He said as he started to charge One for All.
"Im not going to hit her...all I have to do is immobilize her. So I'll use the cables from the debris she threw and tie her up." Midoriya thought as he looked at a pile of rocks to his left that had some cables wrapped around them.
After Midoriya had charged One for All up, he dashed toward the pile of rocks at full speed. Uraraka noticed what he was up to and decided to act.
"Oh... not happening!" She said as she touched the ground and the stones around her began to float once again. This time, the stones looked more coordinated.
"Man... she's gotten alot better at this... but I have to focus. She's using some of the stones to cover herself and the others to attack me... Im gonna have to break the rocks if I want to make it over to her." Midoriya thought as he grabbed the cable and admired the scene ahead of him.
As Midoriya planned his strategy, Uraraka was trying to put a stop to him right here and right now.
"METEOR SHOWER! RELEASE!" Uraraka shouted as all the stones that were floating above started to fall in Midoriyas direction.
"Dammit... I have to move now!" Midoriya said as he used his momentum to jump from rock to rock avoiding getting hit.
He was trying his hardest to not get caught, but he was starting to feel he had little space to manuver around. So he began to punch the rocks ahead of him in order to form a path directly to Uraraka.
"She's using some of them for defense... but I know she's hiding behind the one in the middle... so this is my chance!" He thought as he looked at the stone.
"SMAAAASH!" He shouted as he swung his right arm foward breaking the stone he was aiming for.
But, little did he know, Uraraka wasn't behind that stone.
"W-What!? B-But... she was right here!" He thought as he saw she was nowhere to be seen.
Suddenly ,from above him, he heard his target shout.
"RELEASE!" She shouted as she began to fall in Midoriyas direction. Midoriya slowly turned around to see Uraraka falling rather quickly.
"She was in the air!? I didn't see her... I have no time... If I throw a smash, I can end up hurting her... I don't want that... I guess I have to make a sacrifice..." He thought as moved the arm with the cable into place.
