Chapter 8: Late Night Talk.

Uraraka stood there frozen as she tried focusing on what was happening. She had a nervous smile on her face and she was shaking a little because Midoriyas visit caught her way off guard.

"Come on Ochaco... say something. He probably thinks you're weird! Ok ok ok... ummm." She thought as she looked into his eyes.

"So... you alright?" Uraraka asked. As soon as those words left her mouth, she felt a huge wave of embarrassment.

"You alright!? Really!? Is that the best you could do!?" She thought.

"Well... Im a bit better." Midoriya said as he chuckled. "I was actually here to check on you."

"Check on her? Who do I think I am? Her dad?" Midoriya thought as he was also really nervous.

"Oh... well Im fine, really. If it wasn't for you... I probably wouldn't be here." Uraraka said with a chuckle. "When I saw that fist coming toward me... I froze. I could'nt react or do anything." She said as she looked at the ground. Uraraka was feeling a bit better, but her recent encounter with Overhaul had left a rough memory in her.

"Hey... it's okay." Midoriya said as he grabbed one of her hands. "As long as Im around, you can count on me." He said with a smile.

"Why is he doing this to me? Does he know how flustered I get? I just... I can't... I've gotta calm down." Uraraka thiught to herself as she looked at Midoriya in the eyes.

"Well... it's good to know Im in good hands." Uraraka said with a small smile.

"She has that much trust in me? I've got to live up to the expectations... but, how do I answer to that? Do I just let an awkward silence form? Think Izuku Think..." He thought as he looked at Uraraka. He got a bit too nervous and said the first thing that came to mind.

"Yeah... like AllState." Midoriya said as he quickly realized the stupid comment he made.

"AllState? What's that?" Uraraka asked as she turned her head to the side a little.

"Umm... w-well... it's a tv comercial... but that's not important right now." Midoriya said trying to come back from the lame joke he just made.

They stood there in silence for a few seconds. Suddenly they realized they were still holding each others hands. Both of them quickly let go of each other and looked down to the ground as their faces turned bright red.

"D-Do... do you wanna come in?" Uraraka said as she stepped a bit to the side.

"I-Is it okay?" Midoriya asked as he lifted his head a little.

"She's inviting me into her room? A part of me just wants to run back to my dorm... but, another part of me feels that she's still uneasy about the whole thing. Should I stay?" Midoriya thought.

"I mean... i-if you want... Im not forcing you to stay." Uraraka said with a little chuckle.

"Well... I..." Midoriya started to say, but he noticed that Uraraka was looking a bit down. "Sure... I'll go in, if you'll have me." He said with a chuckle.

Urarakas eyes lit up as a pink tint appeared on her cheeks. She let out a smile as she looked up at Midoriya.

"Well... after you sir." She said with a chuckle.

"Why thank you m'lady." Midoriya said as he also chuckled.

He stepped in and walked to the center of the room. The place was neatly organized and it had some fragrance that smelled a bit like cinnamon.

"Is that... cinnamon?" Midoriya asked as he turned to face Uraraka. She had closed the door and walked over to him.

"Yeah... my mom bought me a scent diffuser and sent me a few oils with it. It says it's apple pie... but I don't smell the apple at all." Uraraka said with a chuckle.
