"What do you mean, he's not there?" Hotch yells. "I thought he was under close watch!"

"He was, but someone must have let him out," Cruz replied. "We had a junior officer watching him. He's still at the academy but he came here for just a few days to see what the agents do. We put him in charge of the messenger, but when I came to check on him, the guy wasn't there. I looked for the student and found him talking to another agent. He said he had only been gone a couple minutes."

"My god," Hotch muttered. "Alright, we should split up. Reid and JJ, you stay here and start to pack up. The rest of us will go to Nicole Sherton's addresses. Gates, Rossi, go to the work place. Prentiss, Derek, you'll come with me to the home address. We'll call Garcia on the way and see if she's found any connections." We all head out, minus Reid and JJ, and slip into one of the cars.

Rossi let me drive, so I speeded through the streets with the police siren on. Rossi's phone rings, and he picks it up to hear Hotch and Garcia.

"Garcia, have you found any connections between the victims yet, relating to Nicole Sherton?" Hotch asks.

"Yeah, I might have hit something but it's a bit of a long shot," she replies.

"Give it to us, baby girl," Morgan says.

"So, there was a group of boys that were suspected for setting off the fire, but the police didn't have any evidence to indict them. Now, this is where I started making a couple connections. The first victim, the guy, he was the brother of one of the boys. So I started cross checking all of the victims with the boys who allegedly started the fire. Almost all of them hit except the couple, I can't seem to find them anywhere." When she finishes, I glance at the phone.

"Are there any type of connections that wouldn't show up on paper?" I ask.

"Yeah yeah, of course, that's what I'm looking for. But sometimes, friendships aren't on paper."

"Okay, what I want to know is, why didn't she go after the original guys who did this?" Prentiss questions.

"Great minds think alike, my dear," Garcia says. "I thought that too, so I looked it up. Turns out this woman might have tried this before. 2 years ago, all of the men reported a woman stalking them who matches Nicole's description. It took police a couple months to figure it out, but 2 buddy cops were talking and both happened to be working a case where a man was stalked by a middle aged, white, brunette woman. There was this big investigation, FBI got involved for a few weeks, then everything stopped. FBI changed all the men's names and addresses, essentially put them in a 'witness protection' sort of thing. The only reason I know their new names is because we work for the FBI, but as I know, our security is pretty tricky to bypass or hack into. No way this woman could have found their new names unless she's like superwoman or something."

"So she went after the ones they cared about," Rossi says.

"Alright, Garcia, keep looking for a connection between the couple and the boys," Hotch says.

"Will do, sir," Penelope replies before hanging up.

"So, a woman bent on revenge takes out the people these guys care about one by one," Rossi comments to me.

"Yeah, I know, it's pretty horrible," I say, keeping my eyes on the road. All of a sudden, some maniac comes whipping across the intersection. I swerve a bit, but I'm able to keep steady on the road.

"Where did you learn to swerve like that?" Rossi asks as he clutches the seat.

"My dad taught me," I respond. "He was a cop, so he'd have to chase down perps who would drive like idiots trying to get away." My phone buzzes and I pull it out while keeping a hand on the wheel.
