As you can see, the purpose of this chapter is stated in the title. So yeah I'm basically just going to showcase some of my inspirations for this book.
This is also an update chapter so you guys can come here sometimes if you feel the need to know the status of the next chapter :)
New update: brain's empty, can't think of any efficient way to write the next chapter without missing out the scenes I really want to include and disturbing the pacing of the story : /
Now I've always wanted to do this for a while. 'Angel's Lost Siren' is basically a combination of all of the tv shows/movies I watched that I've been obsessed with. Whenever I run out of ideas, I think of them.
So here are some of the tv shows/movies I inspired myself to make this ff lol.
1. The Legend of the Blue Sea
'The Legend of the Blue Sea' was one of the first kdramas I watched. My mom introduced this show to me a long time ago, and I was really fascinated by this series. The kdrama is very emotional too, me and my mom cried together.
Inspirations i got from the show:
1. The beginning of 'Angel's Lost Siren' is very similar to the kdrama's. The male protagonist just happens to unexpectedly encounter a mermaid on a casual day. (Well the male protagonist from the show wasn't aware that the girl was a mermaid)
2. 'The Legend of the Blue Sea' involved a lot of comedy, that inspired me to make my story more cringier than it already is.
3. (Y/N) cried perles just like the mermaid in the kdrama.
4. When (Y/N) got a potion which granted her legs, Ochaco made it clear that if she made contact with water, she would immediately turn back into her mermaid form. That was a reference from the show as well, the female protagonist would get her tail back when she got into the water.
5. (Y/N)'s fast learning abilities. The mermaid in the show learned korean overnight (at least that's what I remember lol)
2. Demon Slayer
