Cryptic (BNHA x Reader)

School Work

(A/n: this chapter is mostly filler so read if you want.)

"So hear me out-" "Oh god!" "Y/n NO!" "N/n I'm going to throw you." I stopped walking and turned to look at my four friends with a hurt face "I'm hurt! Ochaco, Izuku, Iida and Hito you're asses. The only on that isn't an ass is Todo!" I then turned to Todoroki and saw he had headphones in "Makes sense on why he didn't say anything." I mumbled. I then pulled out his headphones "LISTEN TO MEEEEEE!!!" Everyone sighed "Go on n/n." Shinso said accepting his fate. We started walking to class again.

"Ok ok soooo I was thinking-" "Never smart." "Shins if you don't shut the fuck up im going to yeet you to the sun." Shinso rolled his eyes "y/n language! A young lady and young hero should not be using such profanity!" I just looked at him "Iida I know we don't talk a lot but trust me I'm being modest with my cussing ask Hitoshi." "Ugh!! n/n what were you saying?" Shinso groaned "Oh right! Okay so hear me out. I was thinking what if I went to the pet store and bought a snake?" Everyone stopped. "Y-You like s-snakes?" Izuku said and I nodded "Um n/n your dad would literally kill you if you got a snake." I looked up at Shinso "But what if he doesn't find out?"

"Y/n I don't think it is right to get a snake without permission." I turned to Iida "Well technically if I didn't ask and he didn't know then I wouldn't be in trouble. Riiight~" Shinso groaned "I gotta go to class. We walking to the cafe after your practice today n/n?" I nodded "Yup! Bye Shins!" He nodded his head and left. The five of us then proceeded to class "But Ochaco imagine a cute little baby snake!" "Sorry y/n but i don't really like snakes." "Gasp! Why not!?" "I have to agree with Uraraka y/n. Snakes are kinda scary." I shook my head at Midoriya's comment "They're not!! They're really cute! I just don't think I like the idea of feeding them mice. I also feel like my cats won't like it."

"Wait you have cats? How many?" I turned to Ochaco "I have two! They're both boys, ones name is Saturn and the other is Mars. I think Saturn likes my dad more then me though." I said with a shrug. We then walked into class me still not dropping the subject of me wanting a snake "But guuuuys~ I'm talking about like a baby snake not a full grown snake~" "If Shinso said it wasn't a good idea then I don't think it's a good idea n/n." "Sho you're supposed to be on my side~" I pouted. Todoroki felt his face heat up a bit.

"Hey y/n can i ask you something real quick?" I turned to see Sero "Yeah what's up?" "Do you think we could maybe hangout this weekend. It's gonna be all of the bakusquad. We were going to train and get food after."

"Hm sounds like fun! WAIT CAN WE GO TO THE PET STORE ALSO!?" "I don't see why not. Why?" "BECAUSE I WANT TO BUY A SN-" before I could finish my sentence Todoroki slapped a hand over my mouth "Sero please do not let her go to the pet store. Unless you want her to get in trouble with her dad." Sero looked confused "Sure I won't let her. But why would she get in trouble?" "Because she wants a-" "I WANT A PET SNAKE!!" I finally pulled Todoroki's hand off my mouth "Oh really? I wouldn't expect you to want a snake. Why can't you get one?" "Because she has two cats already." "Oh well you still down to hang out this weekend?" I nodded and then dad walked in.

Me and Todoroki walked to our seats and sat down. I turned to Todoroki "Sho what if I asked my dad about getting a snake?" "He will most likely say no n/n." "Let's find out!" Dad was in the middle of explaining our assignment and then I yelled out my question before Todoroki could stop me "DAD CAN I GET A PET SNAKE?" My dad stopped what he was saying and everyone looked at me. He groaned "y/n you're not getting a snake." "WHY NOT~" "Can we talk about this when we are NOT in class." I just pouted "Fine." My dad then sighed once more and continued explaining what we were doing.

"Today we are doing a partner project that is due on Friday. It's a presentation and you will have to present." Some people groaned and some stayed quite I was one of the people that groaned "Oh be quite so I can tell you your partner and your topic." Dad started listing off partners "Midoriya and Iida. Todoroki and Tokoyami. Kirishima and y/n. Kaminari and Bakugou. Yayarozu and Mina. Sero and Tsyu." And then i stopped paying attention until my dad told me and Kirishima our topic "You two will be going over the history of quirks." "Bruh. Of course you give us a hard topic!" "Um y/n you're literally the top student and our grades rep." I looked at Mina "But that doesn't mean I wanna do WORK!"
