Two Steps Forward, Two Steps Back

Hey guys, Lightingfoxy 12 here and I just wanna say that man, it's been a while. Also, I'm making Sonic having the Awaken ability and his other abilities as well. It's something that I wanna change for Sonic. Anyway, enjoy!!!

Outside the house:

Yang was sparing with Taiyang as she blocks his attacks. Yang goes for a kick, but she misses as Taiyang punches her back. Taiyang goes for a spinning kick as Yang blocks it. Yang uses her metal arm and punches Taiyang back.
Taiyang: Whoa... that thing packs a punch!
Yang: We've been at this for weeks. I get it, you wanna make sure I can still fight. I think I'm doing just fine.
Taiyang: You're close.
Yang: Oh really?
Taiyang: You're still off balance.
Yang: What?! No I'm not! Honestly, I'm kind of surprised. I thought it would just be this huge weight, but... it feels... natural. They did a great job with this thing.
Yang gets distracted as Tiyang goes for a punch, but she barely dodges it. They contacted with their fists rapidly as Taiyang catches her punch.
Taiyang: I wasn't talking about your actual balance.
Taiyang trips her on the floor with his leg as Zwei gives Taiyang a towel.
Taiyang: Although, that could use some work too.
Yang: Meaning?
Taiyang: I saw your tournament fights. During the Vytal Festival.
Yang: Let me guess. "I was sloppy."
Taiyang: No, no, you were predictable. And... stubborn. And maybe a little boneheaded. Do you realize that you used your semblance to win every fight after the qualifiers?
Yang: So what? How is me using my semblance any different than someone else using theirs?
Taiyang: Because not everyone else's is basically a temper tantrum. Ha ha, I'm serious! Once you take damage, you can dish it back twice as hard, but that doesn't make you invincible! It's great when you're in a bind, but what happens if you miss? What happens if they're stronger? What then? Now you're just weak and tired! You've always been one to burn brighter than everyone else, whether it was with your smile, or, well, I remember your first haircut. But you gotta keep your emotions in check. Keep a level head, and think before you act. Your semblance is a great fallback, but you can't let yourself rely on it. It won't always save you. Obviously. You definitely have your mom's stubbornness.
Yang: Oh, so now we can talk about her?
Taiyang: Well, as I have been informed, you're an adult now, remember?
Yang: Well, sorry I remind you of her.
Taiyang: Don't be. Raven was great in so many ways. Her strength, her ambition, her dedication to whatever cause she thought was worth fighting for. I'm proud of how much of her I see in you. But, I'm glad I don't see all of her in you.
Yang: Why?
Taiyang: You're mother was... a complicated woman. Like everybody, she had her faults, but those faults are what tore our team apart. And, it did a real number on our family. You both act like the easiest way to tackle an obstacle is through it. That strength is all that matters in a fight. But if you just take s second look, then maybe you see... there's a way around it as well. C'mon, one more before dinner.
Taiyang reaches out his hand to Yang's as she grabs it. Yang and Taiyang spars again as Taiyang goes in first for a punch, but Yang blocks it. Taiyang kicks Yang, but she dodges it as she rushes towards Taiyang as they clash with their elbows:
Taiyang: Alright! Now you're using your head instead of your-whoa!
Yang low kicks his legs causing him to fall on the floor as Yang catches one of his hand.
They then heard a sudden noise.
Yang: Huh? What's that noise?
Taiyang: You year something?
They turn around seeing a portal in a distance as someone walks in.
Yang: Huh?
Knuckles: What the heck? Where am I? Huh? Yang?
Yang: N-No way...!
Taiyang: You know him?

In Weiss's room:
Tails was watching Weiss using her summoning as Whitley comes in.
Whitley: Hello, sister.
Weiss cancels her summon.
Tails: You again.
Weiss: Leave.
Whitley: How hurtful. And here I am, about to offer you a favor.
Tails: What favor?
Whitley: Father's taking me to town to introduce me to some of his business partners. I'd thought I'd see if you wanted me to pick up anything, since you're... well, stuck here.
Weiss: Are you jealous? Is that it?
Whitley: Whatever do you mean?
Weiss: Is that why you hate me? Are you jealous of my abilities? Of Winter's?
Whitley: Hmm... no, not really. Honestly, I find it barbaric. It's beneath people like me. Like father. What can a single huntsman possibly do then that an army could not? That's why we have one, even if it is run by a fool.
Tails: Weiss asks you to leave so listen to her.
Whitley: Fine, fine. I've got better things to do. Enjoy your... training, however pointless it is. What is your plan, anyway? What do you hope to accomplish while trapped in your own bedroom with this fox?
Tails: Gr...!
Weiss uses her gravity dust closing the door.
Weiss: It's alright, Tails. We should start training.
Tails: Right. And I think I've got something to build.
Tails brings out a box of materials.
Weiss: Where'd you get all those stuff?
Tails: Just happened to find them. Now then... what should I make? It's perfect!
Tails began to build a machine as Weiss gets back to summoning. The glyphs gets bigger as the room shakes breaking the glass from a wall.
Klein enters the room.
Klein: Miss Schnee! Mr. Tails! Are you alright?!
Klein sees Weiss summoning a Knight as Tails was building something.
Weiss: Yes. Klein, I need a favor.
Klein agrees as Tails asks Klein a favor.
Tails: Hey, Klein, you think you can help me with this in time?
Klein: With my experience, it'll be finish in no time.
Tails: Thanks, Klein.
