8. Hobbies

Hey guys! Welcome back! I know its a little short but its what I got done today. Hope you like this one. I'll try to make the next chapters more interesting. I have a kind of plan...I guess. Cya!

<<Nico POV>>

The next day everyone came down to the kitchen to have breakfast around 6:30. Alfred had already been up since 3:00. I had no idea how that man could survive from 3:00 in the morning to 11:00 at night. I mean that's about only four hours of sleep!

I got downstairs and sat down at the table. I sat in front of Dick. He was eating waffles I think. At least that's what I think they are called since I was from the 1940s, I had never had a waffle. Alfred came up to me and asked me what I wanted for breakfast. I asked for an apple. He looked at me strangely, but got me the apple I had asked for. After a bit of silence, Dick looked at me.

"So," he stared, "who do you like here so far?"

"It's nice," I replied, "I had a question though"

"Shoot."

I looked at him. 'Shoot'? What did that mean?

"Why would I need to shoot you to ask a question?" I asked, "wouldn't it be better to just ask the question?"

He looked stunned.

"No, no. It's just a saying. I guess." He said, "anyway, what was your question?"

"Is it ok if I paint my room?"

"Um...sure, I guess. Nobody's done that yet, but sure. You can paint your room."

"Ok, thanks."

"Hey, me and the boys were thinking of showing you what we like to do for fun."

"Sure, that sounds nice." I said.

"Then maybe you could show us what you like doing?"

"Ok, sure. Let me just go have a quick shower and I'll be right down."

__________________________{AFTER SHOWERING}_______________________

I got down to see Tim waiting for me.

"Hey Nico, dick told me to show you what my hobby is. Let me warn you. It could be boring if you aren't into coding."

I nod.

"Ok, let's go up to my room, there I'll show you my hobby. Then you can see what Jason's hobby is, since we do our hobby's in the same room."

We walked up to Tim's room. He had a bed tucked away in the corner like the Athena cabin, where their beds were at the end of the room as if sleeping wasn't important. He had a desk in the middle of the room, against the wall. There was also a huge TV screen on the wall.

"Cool." I say.

Tim walked to the computer and sat down at the desk.

"So, I'm practically coding a computer." He said

After a while of showing me how to code, my mind just died. I had no idea how to do this.

"I think you were right Tim." I said, "this isn't for everyone. Especially me."

Right then, Jason walked into the room and walked up to me.

"Come on, it's my turn."

Everybody had shown me what their hobby was. Even Alfred. They had all gathered in the kitchen to see what Alfred liked to do. After Alfred said that he liked cooking big meals, because it took a lot of time, everybody looked at me.

"What?" I asked. Confused.

"You said that you would show us what your hobby was." Said Dick, "so? What is it?"

"I like drawing I guess. I don't remember when I learned, but turns out I'm quite good." I said.

I led the boys to my room, and picked up the grey book, that contains ordinary drawings, like, horses, pegasus, sea creatures, and many more animals. I flip through the book looking for the right page. When I found it, I showed it to everyone else, it was a drawing of my mother, Bianca, and me. The boys looked at the picture.

"Who are they?" Asked Damien

"That's my mother, Maria di Angelo, and that's my sister, Bianca di Angelo."
